The location was absolutely beautiful. Our hosts were amazing. The house ("cottage") is big, well furnished, comfortable and has amazing views of the lawn and area. Just step outside to the beautiful homes and walk a short distance to the sea and the train station. Stunning in every way!

First of all the welcome - which, in my experience - so typifies Irish hospitality. Liz couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Acara House is in an excellent location with good access to Dublin City, and there are nice pubs and restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. The room was clean and comfortable, and was serviced every day. Finally, the breakfast was tremendous - a true definition of a ‘Full Irish’ (though other options are available). I have no hesitation in recommending Acara House!

The property is absolutely beautiful, spotless clean and very cozy, the host is actively responsive, helpful and super kind, with both professionalism and personality creating a warm welcoming stay. Quiet surrounding area, with a cozy back garden , you can't go wrong coming here, and you'll want to stay for more than a holiday . Been travelling around the past while and this genuinely is 10x better than any hotel, at your comfort and privacy and genuine service, we will definitely be staying again.

the artist residence is literally the most awesome place to stay. i travel the world since decades but this was the most amazing experience. we felt to be at home away from home from the first minute. the hosts are such lovely people and we had such a lovely time there. they managed to fulfill all our needs and even baked and cooked vegan dishes for us. the garden is so peaceful and quiet. the rooms are wonderful and the beds extremely comfortable. we can't wait to come back.
