At the Crater’s Edge is absolutely gorgeous - so beautifully decorated, whilst simultaneously feeling comfortable and homey. Eric and Chris provided everything we could ever think to need (including some delicious banana bread). The room was cleaned to perfection and the amenities were fantastic. It was also a lovely change from the resort style accommodation we had been in before - this was much more relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle. Eric and Chris were great with their communication and gave us loads of recommendations for everywhere we were travelling on Big Island. We love them! The property is super close to Volcano itself, which is exceptionally easy to get around, and the entrance to the National Park is a stone’s throw away from the property. We did a fantastic e-bike tour and some hiking in the couple of days we were there. It was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I really wished we booked more time!
