Didn't spend nearly enough time in Orange - there were restaurants I would have liked to have tried and wineries. Also I would have liked to have played more golf than just one game. We went in autumn which was beautiful. We ate at the Union Bank - schoolhouse restaurant which was delicious - make sure to book well ahead so you won't be disappointed. Breakfast at Byng St cafe was also fantastic, atmospheric and excellent service. Hey Rose wine bar was quirky with incredible salami and breads. For families and couples the Heifer winery had beautiful grounds and some excellent wines that you won't be able to resist.

Orange is a lovely country town with lots of historical and architecturally interesting buildings and the faint smell of 'old money'. Beautiful in autumn. Lots of pub and restaurant options, wineries etc. Duntryleague is a wonderful golf course if you can get on.

We enjoyed the town, the wineries were lovely, although some don't open during the week, that was disappointing.
People were very friendly, knowledgeable and made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.
Lake Canobalas was beautiful, child friendly, lovely cafe and lovely place to walk and relax.
Richard our taxi driver went above and beyond organising another driver to pick us up later that night as he was finishing his shift. A big thank you to him.
We went to a few restaurants and they were high end and very good.

Tourist information centre excellent very helpful staff.
Tourist information centre excellent very helpful staff. Toured some of the cellar doors. Travelled to Cowra which was well worth the visit. Also the Ophir Gold where gold first discovered in NSW. Orange central to lots of places of interest. Large town with everything you need. The Ex Services Club excellent for meals.
It was a last minute booking after I'd got the wrong dates for my previous booking :( Check-in was quick, the room was small but fine with an ensuite. It's an old pub so don't expect luxury but the rooms are clean, the bed is very comfortable and it was generally quiet. There is a bistro downstairs for meals (but no breakfast) and a lounge area to sit in near a fire. On the whole it was perfect for a solo traveller for a one night stay. Easy walking distance from the railway station and the art gallery.
Edward Town House, 151, is in an excellent location. Short walk to local pubs, clubs, main street, shopping and cafes.
We have stayed here on many occasions and always look forward to returning. Great facilities, bbq easy to use, plenty of room in family/kitchen area for 6 adults. Comfy lounge, bluetooth soundbar for streaming your own vibes.
We're already looking forward to our next stay there.
Plus, excellent value for money. Cost way less for two couples than two room at local hotel.
The facade of the motel is very dated and needs some love, BUT the insides of the rooms are just superb.
The bathrooms are nice, neat, clean and a great design. The shower provided hot water with pressure.
The beds , wow, very large and very comfy.
We has one night to see a concert, but will definitely use this motel again for any trip to Orange. Park the car and walk to many pubs , club or entertainment centre. Just the bees knees.
The great western hotel was everything we wanted and needed for our big family Mel was the biggest help and friendly customer service support we had there on the day she made us rest early and get inside after a big drive from melbourne to orange and was making sure we know where to get to and everything is so we mostly stayed and knew mel was there to support us in every day in and out thank you Mel 🙏💗
The Sampson feels like a home-from-home - very warm and comfortable. There were lovely little touches, like the items in the pantry (we enjoyed sampling the chocolates!). We were given lots of helpful information about the property and also things to do in the area.
It's located very close to central Orange (walking distance to the CBD) and a good base for exploring the whole area.
Located a little out of town opposite the hospital, so a car is essential. Very comfortable beds and well fitted-out bathroom with a nice set of toiletries. The staff are friendly and courteous.
Breakfast in the restaurant is excellent - fresh food, generous serves. All COVID measures are complied with.
The free undercover parking
The level of finishes and the quality and cleanliness of the accommodation,
The lovely large bathroom.
All Staff were very accommodating and client-focused.
The quest Orange is a lovely 4 * hotel in a great location

Really pleased with my accommodation. Excellent facilities and the price was so reasonable. The water pressure and temp in the shower was great too! Ideally located in centre of Orange. I felt safe and secure and comfortable.
Great location, right next to the main street. Room was very modern and clean, shower was excellent. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Free carpark conveniently located right next to the hotel
Walking distance to the Main Street of Orange , good value for money , dog friendly with a pleasant outdoor Bar B-Q area. Beds were comfy and there was an abundance of pillows to choose from
Loved the whole cottage, everything you need for a great time in Orange.
Very clean and accessible, not far from town and quiet. My pup and I loved our time at this property.
A continental breakfast was included however one of the highlights was the location of the hotel. It was within a short walking distance to two of the top restaurants in Orange.
Immaculate boutique hotel. The accomodation is beautiful, the breakfast room was quaint and the food was delicious. Incredible! Great pub across the road too.
From the moment we arrived we were blown away with this amazing hotel. Everything was above and beyond. Definitely going back there and highly recommend it.
