The staff were very accommodating and helpful for the duration of the stay. We did encounter trouble with the toilet flooding the bathroom on the third night. However, the staff moved us to a new room the next day as compensation without trouble. Breakfast was surprisingly good, as we were out and about early in the mornings and never had to worry about eating out because the food was filling and quiet good. The location being near the center of town was definitely a major plus for us, as we didn't have a car and walked everywhere. As a group of girls it made staying our easier knowing our hotel was always within walking distance.

The room was nice and clean, with an amazing view of the mountain and forest. We absolutely loved the location: of course, it is remote, but an opportunity to wake up and immediately be on the slopes the first thing in the morning could not be beaten. The level of service, and friendliness of the staff are amazing - they were always going an extra mile to help us with our questions: be it something simple or convoluted (we had to use Friends and Family discount of Icon Pass for the chair lift, which turned out to be a convoluted procedure, but everybody was willing to spend more time and figure out the solution for us). "Chimney Corner" restaurant is also excellent - both for quality of food and the service.

Brand new mother daughter ski duo had amazing success with SkiBig3 Banff Adventure Hub gear rental and private ski instructor. Skied 3 days. Also enjoyed dogsledding in Canmore! Totally exceeded our expectations! Shops were variety of price points and restaurants offered a variety of options. Every turn of your drive was breathtaking! My teen stayed off of social media and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery during our drives! Everyone was extremely courteous and friendly in this town!

It is an absolutely charming town nestled in a most beautiful natural environment. The people were all very warm, kind, and helpful, although interestingly, they all (but one person I met) seemed to be from the UK, New Zealand, or Australia. But the accents were great, and so were the people. Next vacation... Australia! Back to Banff... a great getaway whether for skiing in the winter or simply unwinding, reflecting, and pondering the next steps, or getting your dream girl to say "yes" to the ring.

Banff and the surroundings are very picturesque and the towering Rockies add to the grandeur of the place. The ride in the Gondolas and the walk in the snow at the top is something no visitor must miss. Lake Minnewanka in all it's frozen splendour with the cabins in it's midst is spectacular when the sun comes up. Lake Louise - a few Kms away - is also something to behold. All in all a fabulous place to spend a few days.

There was a severe lack of snow this year (an el Niño year) which interfered with some of our planned outdoor activities, and meant we had to drive to Lake Louise for decent snow. We largely avoided downtown Banff because of the large number visitors and tourist shops. Parks staff at the information centre were very helpful.

Where do I start?!
Fabulous hotel beautifully located in downtown Banff.
Spent 3 glorious days making the most of the hiking trails from the hotel, then enjoyed sloshing around in the hot pools to ease post hiking muscles.
The bar is a great convivial spot, and although we ate in the restaurant one night the best places to eat are 2 minutes walk away.
The roaring fire in the lobby gave the entire property the sweet smell of woodsmoke.
We honestly loved our stay and would highly recommend.
Clean and tastefully renovated unit, with everything we needed for our stay. Staff were efficient and friendly. Comfortable beds, very quiet. A bit on the edge of town, but their free bus ticket takes you anywhere you want to go. Close to Tunnel Mountain trail hike, as well as a nice walk that takes you over to the Banff Centre, the Bow River and beautiful views of the Fairmont hotel. Really enjoyed the woodburning fireplace and kindling with self-serve chopped wood.
If you are traveling and plan to stay in Banff National Park, there are several "high end" Hotels / Resorts. The Rim Rock is one of them. It is near the Banff Gondola and Hot Springs and convenient to the Bus that runs every 20 minutes or so to the center of Banff. The Views are incredible and the amenities are super. Not the cheapest place, but one of the best. Highly recommended for that "special" trip ... great in Winter as well as Summer.
An absolutely superb hotel - amazing service from start to finish! Huge two bed suite with three bathrooms and so much space for the whole family to relax. Love view of the mountains. Outdoor pool was amazing and had a bar! Restaurants we’re fab as were the staff! Free bus shuttle into Banff town which we used twice - lovely shops and restaurants - so well worth dragging ourselves away from fairmont for a few hours.
I liked in this trip everything- Stunning view from our room, great front desk staff, clean and new suit, complimentary coffee. I asked to leave small surprise for my husband cause it was his birthday. They left cute card, where were lot of hotel staff’s names and beautiful bottle of maple syrup. It was amazing. Thanks to this hotel for our great experience in Banff.
The loft rooms were great. It was nice to have a private room (with a door) for the parents on the main floor and all the children upstairs. The kitchen had all the basic dishes and pots and utensils needed for simple meals. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was very convenient taking the bus from this hotel to downtown Banff.
Banff Aspen's Lodge's location is absolutely fantastic - a really quick walk downtown. This is the highlight for someone like me who likes to spend a lot of vacation outside of the hotel.
The whole hotel looked new. The coffee in the lobby was also a great touch. The hot tub was never too crowded, though I never used it.
Everything was perfect. Will come back.
The room was very clean, we had a complaint about a dog in a room next to our(whining), we called the receptionist and within a couple of minutes they have resolved the problem. Recommending this hotel in Banff.
Comfortable and very accommodating staff! Great location, you can get buses to ski fields just out the front and the hotel is opposite the Banff High School Transit Hub which has local buses that can take you to Canmore, Lake Louise and around Banff.
Really nice host, we came in late as we went up to Lake Louise before checking in, and she waited for us. Room was nice and clean. Love that it’s so close to downtown so it’s super walkable. The breakfast tray was a nice surprise! :)
Brewster Mountain Lodge in Banff, Alberta, is a charming hotel that perfectly blends rustic mountain ambiance with modern comforts. Its location in the heart of Banff offers easy access to shops, restaurants, and outdoor activities.
Room was spacious and clean, personnel was very kind and helpful, spa was wonderful! As all Banff hotels, location in walking distance from Downtown. There's a bus stop in front of the hotel, as an additional convenience.
The hotel is okay particularly in terms of location. It is just almost a walking distance to Banff downtown. The suite that we booked is very spacious and we like the balcony with the mountain view.
Very clean and nicely appointed. Edwina was a helpful and responsive host! Great location - easy walking distance to downtown and the bus stop for the express bus to Lake Louise/Moraine.
The hot tub and sauna were amazing! Great location being only a 10 minute walk to downtown Banff. Super convenient that the shuttle to the ski hills stops right in front of the hotel.
Beautiful hotel literally steps from downtown Banff! Breakfast options were amazing and all the staff were very friendly! We liked it so much we extended our stay an extra night.
The resort was conveniently located near TransCanada Highway 1 and close to Banff. Had a gym and swimming pool with hot tubs which was great. The cabin rooms were well placed.
