This place is paradise. We saw more animals here than anywhere else so far in Costa Rica. Even though it is just off the main highway, it is the jungle. The property is large, and full of trees. A troupe of monkeys comes to visit almost everyday. There are agouti, coati, iguana, toucans, hummingbirds, and at night, not far away, coyotes. There is an absolute symphony of nature sounds. The owner, Bettina, and her daughters, are lovely. The breakfast is great - fresh fruit, fresh buns, eggs, cereal, coffee. It kept us going all day. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting the Nauyaca Waterfalls, Marino Ballena National Park and the Uvita beach, Hacienda Baru nature trails, the Alturas Wildlife Sancturary, and more. There is a lovely swimming pool. We would do an excursion in the morning, and hang out by the pool in the afternoon. We were here for six nights, and had a fantastic time. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful location. It is a fairly steep dirt road going to property, however it wasn't a problem for us during the dry season. Room was comfortable. Enjoyed the nice pool & surrounding area. Plants were beautiful. Enjoyed watching the howler monkeys in the trees. Peaceful location.

We stayed at the Eco Lodge condo. It's like brand new. We also went to the Lodge. Syd and Micah were so hospitable. They even made reservations for an excursion. This place is so cute, their rescue pets were very well behaved. The views were amazing, and you could hear the howler monkeys while eating breakfast! I definitely would recommend to anyone and want to go back!!

Although I loved Pacific Edge Eco Lodge and would definitely return, I found the little town of Dominical a bit off-putting. Seemed to be filled with aging gringos with no particular layout or planning. The beach was gorgeous though.
Also, we visited Naucaya Waterfall, several miles from Dominical which was fabulous.

Beautiful laid-back area with lots of things to do within an easy drive. Great beach area and a charming little town with lots of great places to shop and dine. We especially loved waffle fries at Fuego Brewing Company (and the cute treetop vibe), tacos at Hotel Rio Del Lindo, and homemade empanadas at Mama Toucans Natural Foods Store.

Dominical is like Ubud or Goa in the 90s- a chilled yoga/surf town. Hippie yoga pants and hammocks are on sale in the shops; Mama toucans sells pretty much everything from vegan food, chocolate and cosmetics. The food here is phenomenal: Phat noodle is excellent, Fuego brews its own beer from passion fruit to a blonde lager and has an excellent menu, the Pescado loco is a small menu but omg the fish taco was sublime. The restaurants are laid back but are really world class food stops. Very close to nauyaca waterfall, the reptile Centre, Alturas and Uvita & whale tail. But the best part is the excellent yoga on offer at Danyasa, which has the most beautiful yoga shala I have ever been in. Rockstar yoga is also great- fab teachers & a lovely space. I loved this place. Super friendly - feels v safe for a female traveler. Quite a few long term residents & off-griders here

If you love surfing, quiet beach town vibes.
If you love surfing, quiet beach town vibes. This is your place. We surfed every day. It’s beautiful. Some great restaurants around too like the Thai place. We did yoga in the yoga place up the road too. And there’s an organic market ‘mama toucan’ where we got some yummmy food as I’m Gluten Free and dairy free and there was lots of options for me

We loved the beach and there were lots of places to get a variety of food and drink. We loved the pineapple juice from the beach bar and also the milk shakes and frappe from the ice cream place just as you turn into Dominical from the main road. There was a lovely walk along the river road too.
Beyond our expectation at a great price! Quiet location on the beach near to the river at night
Beautiful building
Exceptionally clean right to across the street where you park.
Excellent healthy extended breakfast
Upscale spa like toiletries
Almost too nice for a laid back beach town.

Stunning location in the heart of Dominical, with only a few steps to the beach. Tribe is a luxurious boutique with super comfy beds and delicious smelling shower products for guests to use during their stay. The lounge area by the pool is so relaxing and has such a welcoming vibe. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful, and the nearby restaurants are just incredible!
The Hotel is located a bit outside from the small center of Dominical, but there's enough to do, swimming in the 2 pools, playing tennis or minigolf for free, so you don't get bored. The breakfast is very nice with different types of local food. The apartments are a bit older but still very comfortable and clean. There's a kitchen inside and a small veranda outside.
What a score! Dominical is a smaller town but a great option for a few days stay. The hotel includes a pool, a spacious bar/restaurant and hangout area (it even has a pool table) and lots of trees, flowers and birds. We were able to park our car at the hotel and walk everywhere. We'd definately recommend Rio Lindo Hotel.
Love the vibe here, 2 minute walk to beautiful Dominical beach. Easy 10 - 15 minute walk to mini marts, restaurants, shops. Pool is small but cute, surrounded by beautiful plants and good for taking a quick dunk to cool down. Shared kitchen was spacious and well kept.
The hotel is in a lovely spot in Dominical. Not far from the beach and the village but still quiet and a bit off the road. There is a beautiful garden which you can enjoy in a communal hammock.
Owners and staff of the hotel are extremely nice and helpful.
Excellent location. the view fro the deck of each villa is amazing. Comfortable villas with everything you need. the staff was always available and ready to help. location is perfect as it takes 10min drive to both Uvita and Dominical.
Very nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool and a superb view. Very easy to get to Dominical, Uvita and several tours from the hotel. Group of monkeys close by, nice to watch. Breakfast and restaurant were very good.
Great location with off street parking. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops.
The room is comfortable with nice amenities. The on-site restaurant has good food and drinks. Everyone is super nice.
Good location in Dominical. The staff is friendly and helped us park our car. Value is good, it's a cheap hotel and the facilities looked new, it seems to be a new building.
older hotel with 8-10 rooms overlooking a pool and bar-restaurant. Good location in Dominical. Rooms are good size. Beds are older, not super comfortable. Bring bug spray.
