The old city of Toledo looks magnificent from the parador or from across the valley. There is an attractive river walk outside the city wall with historic bridges which lead up to the city. There are many cobbled streets to wander around but we couldn’t find a quiet traffic free square to enjoy a coffee and people watch. Beautiful storybook-like old town. Great food everywhere. Our faves were the churros and carcamusas. If walking is not for you, there's a cute train that you can ride to see the highlights without having to walk up and down the cobbled streets.

The city is beautiful.
The city is beautiful. The sites however aren't much to look at. The only two really worth it was the cathedral and the jesuit church. For example, the synagogue, you enter and you've seen it all. That was a recurrent theme in all our visits. You could see a site in two minutes. The Alcazar was closed except for the military museum part of it. Not much to see

This is the best part. The hotel is very pretty with nice rooms and good air conditioning. Parking is secure with a garage below keeping the car cool and protected from the sun in mid summer months. Just be aware you won’t want to walk into town in the summer months as Toledo is exceptionally hot and has lots of steep hills. But the views are amazing.BenUnited Kingdom

He was delightful and we called upon him to take us around Toledo to see sights and he drove us to Cuenca after our stay in Toledo. The staff at the hotel were all pleasant and helpful, our room and bed were comfortable, and our breakfast was delicious.

Quiet inobtrusive air conditioning! The standard of everything was very high and the cost was reasonable. The hotel was very conveniently situated in the centre of Toledo and close to the El Greco museum/ synagogues. The restaurant deserves a special mention. We ate there two nights and had excellent cuisine. Amongst the best we had in Spain.

Parking is around the block but easy to access and reasonably priced. Breakfasts were nice, I especially loved their tortilla. It was nice staying outside old Toledo, the hotel is situated close enough for a quick walk to the city for sightseeing.

Food excellent in restaurant and bar was lovely and friendly with large terrace. Would definitely go again. Toledo is very hilly, but certainly worth the effort. The cathedral is best I have ever seen in 59 years, amazing.
