There is so much to do like day trips to Lake Como, Bellagio and other beautiful towns close by.
Milan in some areas can be very seedy but overall it was ok.

Milan is a vibrant city. The locals were very accomodating. It was quite pricey in the more touristy areas and you really needed to book in advance for any thing you wanted to do if you are there for a short time.
We loved the canals at Navagli. This is a lovely area with some wonderful restaurants.
We took a day trip to the lake como. The travel was insanely busy but 100% worth it!! Wish we had more time there to stay longer.
We also did the QC Terme spa. I would really recommend this and would suggest you pay for the Wellness Lunch - as this was divine and include unlimited GOOD coffee and wine.

thieves cannot be avoided, but what's worse is that the local police don't care about those who have been robbed, they don't have the right way to help tourists like me. It's like they are complicit with the thieves because when you report them, they will laugh at you. I hope their government will notice this.

Milan is awesome.
Milan is awesome. Not only for fashion and luxury, but it's very modern and very Italian. Public transport is excellent, there's a great variety of bars and restaurants, people are nice and active. And of course, you have all the tourist attractions.
I'd recommend taking a short trip to Como Lake from there as well.

Whilst Milan was not as beautiful as Florence or Rome or Venice it has beautiful church interiors! Its Art Galleries are excellent if you are an art enthusiast. Of course for fashion enthusiasts those streets of Montenapoleone and around that vicinity is most exciting. A restaurant we particularly enjoyed was Slow Sud - check it out! Plus Vino e Pasta! But Milan is not the most charming place in Italy that’s for sure!
Lovely hotel, top notch service from staff, varied and delicious breakfast. Nice local people. No worries for safety at all, 57 bus straight into milan city centre in 20 minutes, bus stop is on the hotels doorstep literally
Check in staff always more than happy to help, always responded straight away.
Value for money is amazing here, for what we payed for the room we chose, its a no brainer compared to the super inflated prices further into the centre.
Would reccomend this hotel to anyone 100%.
The location is okay, it's far away from the city center but it's really close to metro line M5, station Ca' Granda.
The food choices were okay although I have expected better espresso from a hotel in Italy. The room was comfortable for three nights but it definitely needs refreshing in terms of equipment.
The staff was helpful to arrange the same room for two different reservations (due to changing plans) and assist when needed throughout the stay.
A great place to stay for one night to give access to Milan city. City centre is only about 15-20 minutes walk away from the hotel.
Just 10 rooms and ours was a high class room, marble floors, marble bathroom. Shower had a Turkish sauna facility but we did not use it.
Receptionist was super helpful with local restaurant recommendation to a lovely seafood restaurant just 5 minutes walk away. Also organised our taxi to airport at the end of our stay.
The hotel is lovely and the workers there are very accessible and helpful. Many of the sights are easily walkable. and are also quite popular so reservations for tours should be planned for, and I didn’t get to see THE LAST SUPPER for lack of a reservation. The breakfast spread is excellent and the free drink each night is also a nice feature. I chose the Grand Duca diYork to pamper myself during my final 3 nights in Italy and i wasn’t disappointed!
The hotel was much nicer for what I expected for one star and this price in Milan. I was also upgraded for free to a better room, so my gratitude to the staff. For the price and the service level I could not have wanted anything better. It was relatively quiet, very close to Milano Centrale railway station and the city centre, relatively quiet, with a good wifi network, and very pleasant staff. I would certainly stay there again.
Small Hotel close to the city centre. Just 400 Mts from Piazza del Duomo. Rooms were fine for two persons, in a modern, clean style. Staff was really nice and chose for us a beautiful room with a nice view of the inner courtyard.
It was really confortable for a quick visit to Milan downtown, do some shopping and visit Breda Gallery.
My husband and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the manager at your Milan hotel was to us. It was our first time in Italy and we had problems with our cell phones. At the end of her shift she called a cab and took us to a store. She spoke to the associate in Italian and was able to solve our problem. Corina was our angel.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, making good recommendations of where to visit in the city. The room was perfect and size and exceeded my expectations considering the low cost of the apartHotel. If you want a place to stay in the city centre of Milan, this is perfect, great location with tram stop on the door step.
Enjoyable stay at the actual Milan city centre. Comfortable rooms , descent breakfast for a 3 star hotel and personalised service with very friendly staff. especially Ivan from reception took the extra step by offering a small bottle of wine when found that we were celebrating birthday!!!!!
rooms where very clean staff very friendly breakfast was good a few blocks from Milano Centrale train station neighbor in general seem to be safe for a big city I can not comment on value since I do not have a lot experience comparing hotels in Italy as i would in the US
- The location was nice for people who wanted to use Milan as a hub for travel around the northern part of Italy. It is a walking distance from Milan central station.
- The host was nice and helpful.
- The building felt safe.
- It could host 6 people.
The room was very clean, and the hotel had recently undergone renovation. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we definitely plan to return to this hotel on our next visit. Moreover, the location is highly convenient for traveling around Italy.
A simple hotel equipped with everything you need to explore Milan. The location is great - not far away from the central train station. The city centre can be reached easily by metro or bus. A great quality / price ratio.
the property is really 20 seconds from the Duomo but besides that nothing special actually worst place I stayed in italy and did Rome Florence Bologna and now Milan city is beautiful but this place looked like a war Zone!
Nice hotel on the outskirts of Milano, but near the subway station (and not that far from city centre if you don't mind the walk). The equipment is older, but the price outweights it. The location was very quiet.
The perfect location to see Milan. A very reasonable price for a city centre hotel. Staff at reception made us feel very welcome. We’re coming back to stay again this year
It was a nice property, but shower is tiny and the room is not too big, it felt a little overpriced compared to all the other hotels we stayed during the trip to Italy.
Super nice hotel, walking distance from train station (great for when you’re traveling through Italy). Staff was amazing, room was great, breakfast was perfect.
