A longtime favorite destination for Italians, Rimini is all about the beach. And with almost 10 miles of sand, it’s easy to see why. It is said that there are 1,000 Rimini hotels, and while that might be a slight exaggeration, this Adriatic playground does have more than just sun, sand and glorious sea.
The food is fantastic. Well, this is Italy after all. With some of the best nightlife in Italy, Rimini has a wealth of bars with dance floors, many by the beach, and the next door town of Riccione is a clubbing mecca.
Family-orientated Rimini attractions include the dolphinarium and the Italy in Miniature and Fiabilandia theme parks. A few miles south of Rimini Miramare Airport is Oltremare, a zoo-turned-amusement park located next to Aquafan, a huge water park that becomes a nightclub with foam parties.
For silence and shade, head to Borgo San Giuliano, an area of the town with pastel-painted houses and pedestrian streets. There are also remnants of the town’s Roman past to explore: Tiberius bridge, the Roman arch and the 3rd-century Surgeon’s House.
The colonnades of the Old Fish Market make a pleasant spot for a drink before heading back to your Rimini apartment, hotel or B&B. See Booking.com for the best offers.

Lovely town with 2 different parts of the town, the coast side of the railway line and the town side, both different but good. Characterful buildings, great restaurants & cafes & great beaches. Really handy to San Marino for a great day trip, take your hiking boots & walking legs, the streets can be steep. Glad we decided to go there & would recommend to anyone.

Interesting Roman remains (which I wasn’t expecting).
Interesting Roman remains (which I wasn’t expecting). Piazza Cavour and adjoining areas outstanding architecture. Bicycles and people walking dogs everywhere, but no collisions. City centre a great place for walking with no cars and no traffic lights in old town but heavy traffic elsewhere. A good place to see happy families and with an abundance of cafés and restaurants.

Rimini is a beach resort town.
Rimini is a beach resort town. We visited it in December so we didn't have high expectations. Boy, were we wrong!
The beach area and promenade were full of walkers and cyclists. Traffic wasn't terrible at all. I liked the fact that you could walk along the beach area with having to deal with cars, motorcycles, or Vespas.
The core downtown area is a bit small but not lacking. There were a number of shops and restaurants at our disposal. We enjoyed looking at the various architectures in the area, including the old gate.
One thing we really enjoyed was the pedestrian/bike path that runs from just south of downtown, eastward to the beach area. It was very quiet and relaxing. We never felt ill at ease.
Our original intent was to use Rimini as a gateway to San Marino. However, I think we enjoyed the city more than visiting a new country.

Not a tourist town like other places we have visited. No others speaking English when walking around etc. heard it is very busy in the summer. Took a day trip to San Marino which was so close and worth doing. Food was great and the people were helpful and very nice. Very laid back vibe. You

We had a tour guide to take us around the city and its landmarks, much more interesting city than I thought previously, our guide, Nadia, was extremely knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. There are some great restaurants and bars in the main town, so much more than the beach to Rimini!

Great resort place with countless beaches, restaurants, and shops. Perfect location. The sea, airport in the town, and railway station make it easy and quick to get there and to get to other Italian cities and various places. Beautiful old town. Ravenna, San Marino, and Bologna are very close.
The hotel is new, the furniture is new, the room was with balcony with view on the see. The hotel also had an elevator and in front of the hotel there was an open area with tables and chairs where we could drink morning coffee or evening wine. Beach was in 2 min. There were practically no people on the beach.
It was very clean. The room had all the necessary: towels, TV, little fridge, laundry dryer.
Near the hotel there were several restaurants/bars and one small store.
The hotel had its own parking space, but it was paid separately.
The hotel looks really nice, it is very close to the beach.
Google street view photos are not accurate - hotel is in front of a nice pedestrian zone with bike lanes - there is no street with the cars. It was a pleasure to walk in the evenings.
Hint: we were worried about getting the sunbed (August in Italy is always busy) so we reserved the hotel beach in advance. It was OK, but there are more nice beaches around, some with beach bar and restaurant, so it is worth exploring.
Very nice and modern hotel in Rimini. Friendly staff all around and helpful. Breakfast was one of the the best I´ve had during a longer stay and always with good and varied selection. Room was big enough for 4 people, family room. Newly upgraded bathroom and overall the whole hotel. Very nice though small pool area with open bar and free complimentary snack in the late afternoon. Overall good value for money and one of the nicest hotel experiences we have had.
Small but lovely welcoming hotel, very accommodating when we called to say we would be arriving late and very helpful with getting us parked, etc.
Comfortable room and bathroom, delicious large buffet style ( with some home cooked hot breakfast items as well), very close to the beautiful Rimini beach.
The elderly owners were so sweet and helpful. Enjoyed our short stay here and were close to San Marino our next stop.
Lorenzo was an amazing host. He made our trip in Rimini Suite hotel the best that it could have been. There are certain people that should be in the services business and Lorenzo happens to be one of those people. From the time my girlfriend and I enter the hotel to the time we left he had the same charisma and enthusiasm to help us. Alone just Lorenzo and his service was worth staying at Rimini suite hotel.
The Stay at Up Hotel, for the 3 time - It was again a big pleasure to be your guest and your hospitality cannot be surpassed. The staff around Fabio is only gorgeous and they have always a big smile on their faces. Your morning starts already with the delicious pastries made by Giuseppina - the hotel is only few steps from the beach an the bus station to travel around between Rimini an Riccione (Line 11)
Hotel is nice, the staff was very polite and helpful. Location is great, near the beach and easy to reach the old city of Rimini by bus or even a good walking. The room was clean with all the necessities, a big balcony.
Breakfast was good, tasty and variable, but it was the same menu during the all stay.
Hotel provides vouchers with discount for affiliated beach restaurants, that is a plus.
This hotel was amazing and comfortable. I stayed here two nights and wanted to stay another, but had to find alternative accommodations for my second night in Rimini, but came back here for my third, as it was all booked. This hotel is very professional, quiet and comfortable, with a good location between the train station and the beach. It was a great value with a very decent breakfast.
Big plus is free parking, even though its on the grass and only few parking places has roof
In "all inclusive" packet you have free lounger and parasol in beach
Good communication with stuff, if they dont know it, they use google translate
Tasty food, on lunch and dinner you can choose 2 foods from 4 options
Hotel is not on the beach, but beach is really close only 1min from the hotel
Absolutely loved the stay at Card International and it certainly exceeded expectations. Right opposite the Rimini Station, the rooms were larger than the average ones across Italy and the beds super comfy. Check-in process was smooth and if you'd like to get the bus to San Marino it's just 100-150mts walk from the property
It has a great location, this is why we stayed here overnight for the second time. It’s right of the main road, yet right on the beach. It has parking, nice staff, basic rooms - everything you need to spend a night. We’ll stay here for the third time, if it’ll be convinient for any upcoming Italy trips.
friendly staff, good location (near the beach), aplicable discount at the restaurant on the ground floor of the same building, good buffet at the breakfast with different stuff (including eggs and sausage/Frankfurter/Wienerwurst... and tipically for Italy, much of sweets.
Went to Rimini for a music festival. I loved everything at the hotel, the nice treatment and smiles all the time go a long way. The room was in perfect state and the location couldn't be better. Will definitely stay there again next summer.
The staff was phenomenal. Very helpful, showed us where we can park for 3€ instead of 18€. Almost walked us to the breakfast room.
The hotel is located on the beach, and price of 50€ was fair
Great location, right on the beach. There is a parking on the hotel territory for a fee. Some of the things in the room are a bit outdated. Dogs are welcome for free. Rooms are small
