We really enjoying staying in Vila Bled and we liked almost everything about here: the location, views to the lake, food, boat trips, hospitality and many more. We also had a dinner here for our special weekend,. Only course meals based on local cuisine are available and it can be more expensive than the restaurants in town, but we were so glad we ate here. The food was incredible.

Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there.
Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there. Did the gorge walk which was absolutely amazing and again, well worth the effort. Of course, you have to pay for everything which put us off doing some attraction (seen one castle in Europe you’ve seen them all sort of thing) but we’d definitely go again

Lake Bled is truly a fairytale destination!
Lake Bled is truly a fairytale destination! We loved going there before the height of the tourist season in early May. Highlights included walking around the beautiful lake on a well maintained path, climbing up to the castle (though you could drive or take a shuttle with ease), and visiting the island by wooden boat. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and serene. Many restaurants right on the water to enjoy the spectacular sunsets.

Gorgeous lake which could be walked around in about 2 hours. Felt very safe. Friendly, helpful people in shops and restaurants.
I would definitely avoid high season as the word seems to have spread about its beauty! They are planning a new road which will hopefully help in a few years.
It’s a place we have love and returned to regularly for nearly 20 years! Beautiful in winter too.

Stunning view. Several hikes available around the lake. Good as a base for day-trips. But day-trips require a car (except for Vintgar Corge which is accessible by a convenient shuttle). Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot with plenty to occupy your time for several days. Must sees are the Bled Castle, visit to the Island and a walk around the lake. If walk is too much (around 6 km) there is electric train that will take you for the full or part of that scenic walk.
For those that enjoy walking there are numerous walks and hikes off the lake and beyond.

Lake bled exceeded our expectations.
Lake bled exceeded our expectations. We flew into Trieste airport and stayed the first night in Ljubljana which was really beautiful and we took the local bus €8 for 4 of us out to lake bled where we stayed for a further 3 nights there was so much to do and see with amazk g scenery and plenty of walking trails. We did the lap of the lake, climbed to the castle, boat trip to the Island, tour out to vintgar gorge (amazing) we also visited Bohinj Lake again €10 for 4 by bus. There are lots of other activities. If there were direct flights to Ljubljana we would all love to go back.
Hotel Triglav is a beautifully restored and decorated old hotel situated on the far side of Lake Bled with spectacular views across the lake to the town of Bled itself. Everyone was very friendly and the quality of the food served at breakfast was exceptional. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our second evening, the dinner was also exceptional, but you are then paying for a Michelin rated taster menu. The pool and spa underneath the hotel were superb, with relaxation areas looking over the lake.
The breakfast in this hotel exceeded our expectations by far and it made our stay even more pleasant. The hotel provides free and safe parking. The Bled Lake is not so far, but we were always going by car because of the kids. Our room was spacious enough, so we had a really good rest. The terrace was very large and our kids loved spending time there. Also, there are plenty of toys and games for kids in the lobby, which was really cool. All staff is very friendly and helpful.
A beautiful hotel out in the country, just a few kilometers south of Lake Bled. Quiet location, easy to find. Our room was spotlessly, clean, modern, and comfortable. The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room is somewhat sparsely appointed, but perfect for our needs. The breakfast was quite excellent, with selections of various breads, yogurt, cereals, fruits, meat slices, as well as juices and coffees, and the eggs if desired are cooked to order.
We stayed at Hotel Lovec for a week last year and had such a great time in Lake Bled and Slovenia that we booked again. The hotel is great - fantastic breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and a nice pool. One morning they had run out of hot chocolate for breakfast and they offered to go and get some for the children. The front desk was also really helpful with my elderly mother. Would highly recommend, it is a great place to base yourself.
Location: very good, close proximity to lake Bled, bus stop and parks. Amazing view to the lake if you choose the right room.
Hotel Restaurant: they have some amazing dish you should try. Having a good restaurant in close proximity (within the same hotel) makes it very easy.
Easy access to parks and town from the hotel by walk / bus / car. You can also rent a bike within the hotel and go around the place.
This hotel exceeded expectations. The photos on booking.com make it look a little old, but it looked newly renovated, very modern, and had the best location on lake bled. We stayed at a 4star hotel for two nights afterwards and Starkl was definitely as good as that one. The bed was so comfy and we had a great view of the lake. Breakfast was also fabulous.
Great older hotel. Perfect for what we wanted. Right beside the Olympic training center for Slovenia rowing team. Wonder views of the lake.
The hotel is old and gives a “Shining” feel. Hahaha we had a long hallway to go up to our room on the 3rd floor, but we loved it! Free parking out front, key fob comes with your room to lower the small in spot gate
We stayed for one night so I didn't spend much time in the hotel. There was a hotel parking witch was the main feature as Bled had a problem with places for parking. The breakfast was good. The location was near the lake. Value for money was OK as we booked this hotel later then previous hotels on our Slovenian tour.
We were there with our 1,5 year old child. The location is great- 5 min away from Bled lake, 30 min from Bohinj lake, 1 hour from Ljubljana (by car). There is enough parking space in front of the hotel. The food is great (both, breakfast and dinner) and the stuff is friendly and helpful.
The location is very good with a 10 minute walk to Lake Bled. The Hotel property is absolutely gorgeous with a beer garden and sun area. Breakfast was super with eggs to order. Parking is on property. They also offer a laundry service. Really cant say enough about how nice it was.
The Hotel Triglav has a great location a little away from town but overlooking the island on Lake Bled. It was a nice place to relax at the end of the day and a great view to wake up to in the morning. Breakfast offered a nice variety and were well prepared.
Convenient location, excellent view of Lake Bled, wide international choice at buffet breakfast in spacious dining hall. Helpful concierge staff: we hired bikes direct from the hotel which was very easy. Comfortable room. The pool area was a plus.
Located across the lake with a beautiful view from the room, Outside the centre of Bled, but not so far that it cannot be reached on foot. The rooms are beautiful, just like the hotel. Free parking in front of the hotel.
The hotel is in a great location to walk to Lake Bled (5 minutes) and into the city (20 minutes). The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Loved the location close to all amenities and the staff were friendly and helpful The breakfast was good plenty of choice . And the best bit was it was close to the beautiful lake bled ❤️
Charming hotel, contemporary furnishings. Our large room looked towards the lake. Parking on site. Quiet location, walking distance to the lake, Bled Castle, several good restaurants.
The hotel was in a great location, situated on lake bled. The staff were incredible and made the stay ever better. They also have a good selection for breakfast.
