Very beautiful scenery and peaceful.
Very beautiful scenery and peaceful. Asked for room change off the pond and was accommodated. Petting zoo animals sweet, but they need grooming and tended to better. Hotel restaurant food was Great. Most of the staff was too. The ducks were adorable and hung out with us by our room

The Amargosa Valley is a great value while visiting Death Valley. The rates here are significantly lower than in the park. Well worth the drive. Clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms and nice facilities. RV travelers can also take advantage of the RV park on site.

Nice small hotel near to Death Valley and the Area 51 Café 😉 with nice view on the mountains and on a small lake they built there and donkeys, ducks and geese. Small casino inside and a bar as well as restaurant and a shop 24/7.

You may need a reason to stay in Amargosa Valley.
You may need a reason to stay in Amargosa Valley. I went there to experience Death Valley and got an Area 51 and Alien Cathouse into the bargain.
Hidden gem is the Stateline Bar opposite the resort. good beer, local knowledge and a chance to leave your signature on the wall!

This hotel has an extremely nice venue. Inside, I have the feeling that is the last casino in NV (in a positive way, the state's border is anyway in the backyard 😁). Outside, there is a scene with status, which was extremely interesting. Close to the bovine.
The staff is very nice and friendly. And both the dinner and breakfast were great!
We wish we could spend more time hereby.
A unique property situated outside the eastern Death Valley Park entrance. A small lake, live geese and lifelike statues of people and animals scattered all around the park like area. The Cafe offered a minimal yet satisfying selection. The adequately stocked 24 hour mini mart and small casino a plus since Amargosa Valley is in the middle of the vast Mojave Desert.
Tarantula Ranch made our Trip . Watching the stars and a beautiful sunrise was magical . Don’t be put off my the name there are no spiders . This was a comfortable glamping experience with Shower and coffee facilities available. I wish the owners would expand and have these in every state it is far better experience than a hotel . 5 Stars from two happy Friends
Very clean with a great modern saloon vibe. The bartender and front desk were very friendly. You can tell the hotel has history but everything was very well managed and in excellent condition. The cocktail prices were very friendly and we had a great time at the bar. We also enjoyed the various antiques the owners put on display for guests.
We were using this hotel to access Death Valley. If you don't want to pay the high prices of Furnace Creek, this is the best location. Room was large and clean. Longstreet has very interesting antiques, memorabilia and unique items to see- both inside and out.
It did not say so on Booking, but the rooms do have small refrigerators
all the memorabilia that had been collected and put on display throughout the hotel The casino area and that you could play at the bar. The outdoor space with different statues and old machinery on display. The chapel, the lake , the swimming pool and the gas pumps and not least of all the stunning views surrounding the hotel.
People! Food at the restaurant was also nice and the personnel super helpful (I am vegan)
The story of Longstreet and the cow in front of the hotel. I loved the atmosphere and people is amazing . Was not expecting that. Also there is a self service laundry that was very helpful since we were having a road trip.
Everything you need is all in one place; a small store, restaurants, gas, propane, RV sites - you name it, they have it. Plenty of great photo opportunities onsite too! It is a quiet little oasis on the California border, well worth the stop if you are passing by.
great location to visit DVNP. we also visited Ash Meadow preserve close by. very fun and educational stop. The room was good size and balcony great. the staff was courteous. Very good value restaurant inside the hotel. there is also small convenience store.
has absolutely everything you need-has, casino, bar, cafe, steakhouse, convenient store all in the hotel. it was absolutely amazing after a long day of hiking to just grab what we needed without driving any further than walking from our room!
Very nice, "casino style" hotel. Nice view on the desert and mountains. There is nothing around, but inside you have a shop, bar, restaurant and all the facilities you need. Very good value for money!
Restaurant in hotel, 30mins from death valley. The room was spacious. The gas station was next to the hotel with a reasonable price. The hotel was quite an experience.
