Breakfast ample, although coffee empty at 7.10am. A simple refill would have helped. I sat for 25 mins, never refilled. Rooms spacious and clean

The woman (Crissy) who checked us in was very helpful and polite. On the other hand, the day manager the next morning after I fell out of the shower was rude, refused to give me her name or fill out her part of the incident report. Based on her conduct I would never recommend Comfort Inn to anyone. I am astonished that who ever she is hold a position of authority.

We were only traveling through for one night. We were able to easily find a nice restaurant close to our hotel and had a very nice dinner. Always enjoy this area when we travel and try to stay in Chambersburg as often as possible on this first leg of our trip.

We had brunch at the Brussel's café, the food was excellent as were the staff. There is a charming little park right behind the café with a stream with a water wheel. The only down side is most stores close at 5, and almost everything in the town is closed on Sunday.

Staff and management were efficient and very pleasant.
Staff and management were efficient and very pleasant. Fast food and breakfast options were so-so, but better than most economy hotels. Restaurants are nearby.
The beautiful stream and a patio out back were very nice surprises.
A good pool.
The accommodation was as advertised: simple, spotless, comfortable, and completely good for overnight. Clean!

It was a bit pricey but this is a very nice property that is pet friendly. We could tell where the problem areas were because our dog sniffed them all out. The rooms (my room) could've been cleaned (walls & surfaces wiped down, bathtub wiped out and bathroom corners touched up) a little better. But even with all of that said, I would stay here again, if I'm back in the area, simply because of the pet policy. Plus, since we're in covid times, we brought wipes along to double clean anyway.
My husband and I have come up here the past 5 weekends in a row. Why you may ask? Because the rooms are excellent the hotel is very well taken care of. To add on to all that the staff is amazing. Alicia the manager is amazing. She has always been so helpful and kind to us. She even remembers our names. That’s really hard to find. Someone who cares enough to build relationships with the people that they barely know. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend to anyone coming up to stay in chambersburg.
A few parties had booked king rooms and the day of check in 5 separate parties received emails saying that there were no king beds left and our reservations were all changed to a double Queen room which was very unfortunate as we had booked the trip well in advance. The bride was able to get her room switched back to a King bed, that was our main priority. Other than that it was a fantastic hotel, the rooms were immaculate and the staff were very friendly.
Over the summer of 2021 we have traveled to and from Pennsylvania to Virginia several times, the hotels were always disappointing no matter how much we paid. The Red Roof Inn in Chambersburg was the one wonderful exception. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, the bed was comfortable and everything worked as promised while the staff was courteous, knowledgeable and kind. We were so impressed that we immediately booked our return stay.
We booked in advance. My brother and I were going to Gettysburg for the weekend. We booked one room with two queens. When we got to the hotel our room was not available. Had to upgrade and pay 40.00 more for a one bed room. They over booked…. Ugh. Ended up sleeping on a couch that was so hard. Very disappointed and will never go back.
Tru was an excellent travel experience. From Marjie at the front desk helping me with my reservation and going above and beyond to ensure my comfort to the clean and tidy room...I do not have enough nice things to say about this hotel. We will be staying here anytime we are in Pennsylvania.
New Hotel, no carpets, great shower/bathroom. Gym was well equipped and spacious. Breakfast was very good, coffee hot. Close to Interstate, easy to find. Restaurant just across the street. Would give it 4.5/5 stars only because of the room noise. Bed was very comfortable.
Simple but brilliant hotel. Great little pool, good gym, super staff. Chill area in reception super for hanging with friends. Great place. Really close to Grayce Gardens if you are attending a wedding there.
Great location just off I-81. Hotel is modern and fairly new. Ample free parking and the breakfast was good. The price was reasonable. Several restaurants close by.
The staff were super people focused. The hot breakfast was great considering we had family staying at another hotel close by and it did not have a hot breakfast.
The location was very convenient. The price was fair. We were satisfied with getting off the road, and the hotel being pet friendly. Seen far far worse...
