Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.
Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown areaJoAnneUnited States of America

They also conviently re-sent, just before check-out time, the code to open the box for leaving the keys. It is very nice to have a full apartment rather than just a hotel room. My wife and I especially like having a table and chairs to work on together rather than a small desk with only a single chair as provided by typical hotel rooms. And the location was great; it was central to much of what we wanted to see in Detroit.

One of the best things is the location. Woodward Avenue is in the middle of so much and you can take the Q line trolley from the hotel to the Detroit Institute of Art and many other spots to visit. Also, we got in very late on a Thursday and the hotel has 24-hour room services. We were really hungry, and it was great to be able to order food to our room!

Loved the aesthetic of the hotel and the room was very clean. The candy bar is a must, too! Would definitely stay here again, we had a great time!
