Location is central to numerous Florida attractions. Day trips to either the Glades, Keys, or Miami beaches are possible from here. Staff was nice, breakfast had a good selection compared to most hotels in this price range. Parking lot security was present. Rooms were clean. Best Westerns are nice for what they cost and this one met expectations.

I absolutely love how easy it was to get to the hotel, how it smelled when you walked into the lobby, how friendly the staff was and how clean my room was. I will be back with my family again.

The staff is great, the room was clean and very comfortable. It's very close to the Florida Keys, the Everglades, and a short drive to Miami. They also offer a nice breakfast. Lots of dining and shopping options are very close. We loved the Travelodge in Florida City 😍.

Not a destination, but perfect for passing through.
Not a destination, but perfect for passing through. I was on my way to dive in Key Largo. All I needed was a good night's rest without paying for an expensive room in Key Largo. Florida City/Homestead was 30 minutes out, just right for a late arrival and early departure. Plenty of affordable food choices and services.

The location was wonderful.
The location was wonderful. The area had various things to do. Everyone should make it their first and only stop before heading south into the other keys, experience them all, then return back to Florida City and enjoy the rest of your stay. Don't forget to book a room at Holiday Inn Express for a great time, and awesome breakfast and dip in their very clean pool.

I liked best Everglades and Biscayne National Parks that are close to Florida City. Coral Castle was also very interesting. The outlet mall had some good deals and numerous restaurants are in close proximity. Both O'Deeny's and Yardie Spice restaurants make excellent and unique meals.

I'm a Miami resident and had family who lived here in the past so am well familiar with Florida City. Great waypoint for Robert is Here, the Everglades, the big mall, the upper Keys. Pretty long drive from Miami but easy to find everything in this gateway town.

Was informed that city was an unsafe area and full of crime.
Was informed that city was an unsafe area and full of crime. But that didn’t seem to be the case.
Besides the idiot drivers bearing Florida license plates, driving in Florida City with the layout was good. Be prepared to be cut off repeatedly. But this epidemic was everywhere in Florida.
Florida City was centrally located to our sightseeing areas and much more affordable than others.
Lots of great eateries.
Take an airboat tour. (Groupon)
Take your kids to “Robert is Here”
Just don’t shop at the Wal-Mart thinking it’ll be like your own local Wal-Mart. It’s the worst.
The breakfast is fantastic, a nice buffet with a hot bar and we could eat at outdoor tables. The pool is fantastic and my son loved the oversized Connect 4 game. It's a very pleasant hotel with nice outdoor space that's a perfect location for exploring the Everglades and the Keys. We felt like it was an oasis in Florida City. They even had a laundry room we used. The hotel staff was very accomodating. We would totally come back here if we're in the area.
Great hotel. Staff was super nice and friendly and always trying to help, specially the ones in breakfast.
It is really nice hotel, around lots of restaurants. There is a mall super close as well.
Location is good if you have a car, you can visit the Keyes, we went to many places from there.
Breakfast was great, had wafflles and muffins and a package with eggs, saussage and bagels.
Great value for money. I would stay there again.
The hotel building wasn't likeable to my satisfaction it's also located in a terrible area. The city is highly dangerous in a high crime area with drug addicts drug activity prostitution gang violence and robbery. The hotel price is over priced Budget motel isn't worth the asking price. my stay at budget was horrible and I don't recommend to visit.
Flew in to Fort Lauderdale in the evening on a trip to the Keys and this hotel was perfectly located to start on our way early the next day. We visited Robert is Here fruit stand located conveniently nearby and also a Walmart less than 2 miles away to stock up on picnic supplies for the trip.
Nice staff, specially the attendant Sam who gave me a lot of suggestions about what to do in Florida Keys. The hotel is nice, confortable, very well located for south FL visitors, and it’s close to several restaurants and Mac donalds. Thanks for everything! We had a great time!
The location was good and convenient for a stopover on the way south to the Florida Keys. Liked the concept of having 3 sleeping areas available. It was a fairly new hotel and had lots of USB ports and electrical outlets for electronics.
They upkeep the exterior of the hotel pretty nice. The breakfast was cool too. The room was ok as far as amenities and the way its decorated. The parking was nice. The way the room are positioned was kinda cool too.
I love this hotel! Perfect location for the Everglades or the Keys. Little touches are nice and appreciated. I've been coming here for years. Great price and comfortable. It's my go to for the Everglades. Thanks!
Excellent location for visiting the Everglades and the Keys. The hotel facilities were good, particularly the pool, a swim was very welcome after a hot day. We would recommend the hotel.
At the start to the florida keys. One of the last affordable hotels before crossing. You could stay here and still enjoy the keys if you don't mind driving each day.
