Hotel is 1/4 off I-70 easy on off access, I got checked in at 7:30pm and all 1st floor rooms were taken, they gave me 2nd floor room which was quiet enough and clean and comfy. I had several bags of luggage and had to climb stairs three times because no elevator onsite, at 72yrs I got a work out! All in all hotel is fine and one of the better one with a decent price.

Green River is a small town with the John Powell museum right next to the hotel. Has a couple good restaurants and a nice grocery store. There are lots of Jeep and ATV trails right out of Green River

We have stayed at Green River Terrace Inn the last two years on our trip to Colorado Springs.
We love the location on the river. It’s peaceful and has a great cook to order breakfast. The restaurant next door is always enjoyable. Try it you’ll love it!

Green River feels very sketchy as a town, and is little more than a glorified truck stop. This town had much worse vibes compared to other towns in Utah of similar size. There is only one decent restaurant (Tamarisk) in this town. Stay in some other town instead.

We didnt spend much time in town but there were good restaurants, a good museum. and a decent coffee shop. ( a must for us). It was a good base for bicycling.. We ate at Rays, the Tamarisk... both good. We will definitely go back sometime to explore more dirt roads. Also the melons were great. took 4 home!
The room was comfortable and so was the bed. One of the best things for us was the location on the edge of town with a great view of the Book Cliffs, one of the world's longest continuous escarpments( 240 miles, Utah and Colorado). The motel was in walking distance of a museum on the natural history and written history of the area. The Green River is a tributary to the Colorado River. There is a river walk--paved, wheelchair friendly--along the Green River. Native plants and songbirds abound.
Nice simple motel in a small town. The room has vintage outdated deco, but was clean and comfortable (the mattress is great!) so we ended up staying 4 nights! The manager is a very cool chap, always available to help, we enjoyed talking to him a lot! Coffee is provided all day and it’s really good! I do recommend this hotel as it’s great great value and close to a lot of beautiful natural spots!
It was a great stopover point for us. We slept really well the bed was quite comfortable. Better than in many much pricier Hotels that I have stayed at. The Staff at the reception was very helpful and acomodating as well. I had made a slip when booking the dates for our stay, and they correcte this without any surcharge or complaint. Thanks again for the great service.
Helpful and friendly receptionist (thank you for resolving the hair dryer issue), clean room, comfortable bed, silent area.
Older place but everything is funtional and clean. It was my second visit after 5 years and there was nothing unexpected. If I have another journey through Green River I will stop by again.
The hotel is simple, but excellent. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, with a style that made me smile every time I walked in. The backyard with the river gives amazing ambience. The place is extremely quite and the beds are very comfortable.
Genuinely one of the nicest places i've stayed.
It was clean that is #1 for us it was comfortable the lady at the front desk was very nice. Will stay here again if looking for accommodations here in the future
I am very picky we stay in many hotels/motels and every once in awhile you find a decent place this will be our go to place in GR.
These three guest rooms tucked underneath the Tamarisk Restaurant and on the banks of the Green River are delightful. Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable bed and linens. An added bonus is the breakfast included with the room. We were invited to eat off the menu and the food is very good.
the hotel was renovated and clean, the young lady at the counter was very friendly and professional, lot’s of guests arrived at the same time and she handled it very well and stayed calm. My husband enjoyed his breakfast. it’s a great hotel to stay in if you passe through Green River.
The large room with a terrace overlooking the Green River, chandelier, night light in the bathroom was a great add, all for an amazingly low price. Lot's of towels and very comfortable.
