Nothing really. Room was a decent size but there was a musty smell in the rooms and it looked very outdated.

I especially like the front desk staff. All that I've met so far have been really great! I like that it's clean and quiet. I also like the location considering where I have to go when I come there.

I DID NOT like any of it. From the moment I got there I was uncomfortable because of the staff. They’re very rude and jabby with their words. To top it off, there was no soap/ shower stuff to access just one tiny nasty brittle bar of soap, next there were no do no disturb signs and when I asked the guy at the rest of there was any, he treated me like I was stupid or crazy for asking, also, the WiFi was trash, could not support a Xbox what so ever barely even my iPhone 11, half of the outlets in the room did not work, there was no breakfast, just black hot coffee with sugar packets, and the list goes on. But the real kicker was when my fiancé woke up cover in giant red bumps or bites we don’t even know what it was but will he going to get it checked out.
This Groton, Connecticut hotel is 7 minutes from Trumbull Golf Course and Groton-New London Airport. It features an on-site restaurant, indoor pool and spacious rooms with a 32-inch flat-screen TV.

It was well maintained and everything was perfectly set up.
I would ask for a second floor room. We were near the entrance and It was very loud. Intoxicated person made a scene outside of our room, freaked out the child with me. Telephone in the room didn't work we couldn't call the front desk for help. No discount for dealing with this major inconvenience that went on outside our room for quite sometime while she was screaming and cursing.

We really cannot give a fair evaluation of the attractions and services afforded by Groton. We checked into the hotel, showered, found a lovely seafood restaurant on the water. After dinner, we returned to our room since we had to leave early for the next leg of our journey.

Typical Motel 6. Clean room. 2 to 2.5 star hotel.
Typical Motel 6. Clean room. 2 to 2.5 star hotel. Bring your own pillows, as the pillows were thin and only two of them. No extras. Bed was a typical bed for motel 6, clean but slightly uncomfortable. Close to 95. no real amenities there or near. hotel. Only good thing about it was that it was near Mystic and the two casinos, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. Wife did not like the hotel. She said I should have paid more for a better hotel.

The rooms were clean and the experience was good for the price. My shower pressure wasn't very good, it would come in and out. There were parts during my shower where I had no water and then it would come back.

If you are looking for a room with a comfortable bed and good shower for one night then this is the place anything longer than that will wear out you're happy there.. I say to the owners stop being cheap and fix what needs to be fixed so fixed so your hotel can go from a 3 to a 4.5... For the price you're charging it should be nicer, And everything should be working not under repair for months , do it and do it right and you will attract more clientele.. And stop being cheap invest in more than an 8 channel cable system system ,was beyond pathetic.

Mystic is part of Groton and has a lot to offer. Restaurants, shops, galleries …. To much to list
Unfortunately this place was like the D day worst nightmare ever, , the facilities were like a abandoned hotel, big bugs walking around, no lights working, the carpet was so filter and dirty that we couldn't walk bear foot, and the bathroom we didn't take shower, no way no how our could even bear to shower in the disgusting bathroom, listen most of times we don't follow reviews, but listen to me, if you see 2 + 3 just check out and judge yourself, I hope this helps out yu
Thinn‽
The worst experience regarding cleanliness, aparently all Mariotts clean the room only every 3 day. I travel all over the world and the US, even now during Corona, never happened to me!!!!! Especially not for a price for over $600.00 per night. I would accept this from a cheap Motel but not from a "4Star" hotel.
INCREDIBLE
If people accept this then what's next... At one point they offered me to give me clean scheets, like if I want to make my own bed
The description of the house was right on the money: unique and retreat-like! It was so peaceful, and superbly decorated that it was a joy to be inside as well as be outside sampling the delicious seafood and pizza of Mystic & Groton, CT. Such a scenic area with many great choices of things to do, that we just have to come back. Hope was attentive to any concern and she has thought of every need a vacationer could have. Excellent rental!
I was helping my son move to the area and I needed a place to stay for a couple of days and the hotels in the area were pricey, so I am glad that I found this place. Had everything that I need, was in a great location to where we were. It was like a studio apartment, cozy. I would stay there again and would highly recommend it.
I like the Hotel for its location close to my Mothers Apartment and the cleanliness of the hotel. I stay there every time I come down to Mothers. I did not appreciate the price I paid this time for my room.
I didn’t get into town until 2:30am on Sunday morning.
It was my first visit to Groton area. I was looking for a relaxing, comfortable and safe location. The studio was beautiful and clean. It offered everything I needed. It was welcoming! I enjoyed my visit and everything was close by.
Thank you! Maribel
Room was supposed to be non smoking it smelled of smoke . I was told by a wyndham representative I would be able to use my wyndham points for room and was not able to at check in , Room was over priced for condition of hotel
Very typical stay, room and public spaces were clean and neat. The hotel is located close to the highway and a good location to explore the area. No surprises with the room or breakfast. The experience met my expectations.
Very tasty. The breakfast areas were comfortable and spacious.
The congregating rooms were relaxed and comfy. Loved the real fires in fireplaces.
The bed was extremely comfortable. I slept well.
Julian is a great host!
The hotel is a great value. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The check-in staff was so helpful and welcoming. I have family in the area, so will be staying there again. Thanks!
