Maria's Tiny Barn was exactly what the other reviews said.
not only the building, but Maria herself is a very sweet lady, and we were able to have her show us around her beautiful premises.
the building is really 'tiny' and looks like a doll's house. needless to say, our little one was overjoyed. :D
wifi was stable, everything we needed was provided and we had a very comfortable stay.
also it was a very convenient stopping point for Key West.

This is 10-20 minutes from Everglades and Biscayne National Parks, the reason whey we booked. There are many neighborhoods and as a result there are many storefronts to serve the neighborhoods. This was very convenient overall.

HJowever, the receptionist was very uncooperative, disinterested in helping me and down right rude. Could hardly be bothered to look at me to answer where the room was.
the room was situated in a very poor place, was similar to being in a shanty ghetto. Run down and needing a face lift.

The Tiny Barn was a perfect base for the time we spent in the Everglades. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We did not even turn the TV on. Being located in an Orchard was really good and secluded. Want to stay again. Local restaurants were very good. Havana Spice and Shavers were great local non chain places full of local guests.

You demand a deposit of $383.00 the day of arrival, I think we should have been told at time of booking. At check out we made sure everything was as we received. Now you hold the deposit saying we damaged your sheets and towels, that's a con and you know it. Potential renters before you leave take PICTURES of everything. Management is a lier and a crook. Beware!!! Cover yourself otherwise they will wrongfully steal your deposit. They did. Ours..if you can stayway from them pass this on to other innocent vacationers.
I ended up cancelling the reservation. I read several reviews that complained about the wifi/Internet speed. It was pretty bad. We drove up to the property and both of our phones slowed down tremendously, pages stopped loading and all. We went across the street to try to get a signal and booked a different hotel. Internet was very important to us. Staff was really nice about cancelling the night of. Location was good area from what I could tell. A lot of shopping and restaurants nearby.
I always try to get a room at the Hotel Redland whenever I am in the area. Unlike the corporate chain lodgings, it has a unique 1940's retro feel all its own. I feel like I am about to meet Bogie and Bacall in the hallway at any moment. And the City Hall Bistro & Martini Bar downstairs is a first rate dinner choice without having to leave the premises.
initially when we pulled up outside I had a little reservation, however on entering the house it was lovely, clean and well stocked. There are lots to do locally and a gorgeous drive to the Keys.
Area is quiet ( apart from the peacocks 😂) neighbourhood is friendly.Host responsive and helpful.
Lots of shopping, restaurants within a short drive.
Amazing scenery right outside your door! Great location between Miami and Key Largo. The room was exactly like pictured! My family loved the cold AC. The door between the bedroom and common area did a great job keeping one area cool with the other area staying milder for those family members that don't appreciate the cold as much.
The tiny house had all we needed and the garden area is just heavenly. During day times it's an active area with workers present but in the night you have the whole garden for yourself if there are no other guests. It was perfect for our visit to the Everglades and for spending nice nights in a peaceful environment.
The staff was very helpful and friendly from the lady in the dining room to the general manager. The GM took a personal interest in a problem we had. (It was not with the hotel itself) If I was in the area again, I would definitely stay here.
Great hotel and perfect location to explore the Everglades. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was included with plenty of options. Several restaurants within walking distance and not far from huge Walmart and Keys outlet mall.
It was a great stay. Was going to visit the Everglades National park. The hotel was brilliant. Had stayed at their Altamonte Springs location previously and it lived up to it's standards. Would definitely recommend it.
María is the nicest host. The place was very clean and smelled delicious. The temperature was great and I loved it had Alexa. This would be the BEST place I have stayed if it was located in a centric area.
The pool was heated (27 degrees C). Wifi worked well. Breakfast was OK. It turned out much better than it is being rated on Booking. Would recommend it over some better rated motels around in that area.
Excellent hotel
pleasant atmosphere, sympathetic and helpful staff. A pleasant and varied breakfast is recommended.
Especially Jane &Wiley from the reception who helped and advised us
We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was just fine. Could have stayed longer. If ever in the area we would stay here again for a longer period. Hosts were very friendly.
