We paid an upgraded price for a balcony room right on the ocean. We were given a balcony with a rooftop and peak a boo view of the ocean.
Our television only had one station
$45 charge for valet parking and they left my car unlocked in the alley most of the night.
I will not use Booking.com or recommend or go to this hotel ever again.

We enjoyed the laid back welcoming energy of the locals as well as other travelers.
Spring time was a better time for us to visit, seemed to be less busy!
We were impressed by the cleanliness' of the streets, parks and beaches as well as appreciated the free local trolley bus that took us back n forth between the south and north areas of Laguna Beach.
So many beautiful things to take in but overall we felt safe and relaxed which gave us a wonderful experience.
We will return to experience everything that we didn't have the time to!

Crowded on weekends, but one of the nicest beaches in the world. The town is being over-run with tourists and the arty vibe is suffering from this. We found the restaurants middling and very expensive. Really recommend visiting off season or during the week.

Felt very safe and there were so many interesting art galleries and eateries in town. Many people had to queue for at least half hour at Gelato Paradiso for the ice cream. We were lucky as there was no queue around 7pm.
We were travelling to Laguna Beach from Bannings. OMG, we were caught in many toll roads. Couldn't pay online as the system didn;t accept rental cars. Set your maps to non-toll roads if you want to avoid these.

We love Laguna beach’s which are stunning n the downtown is very nice with many restaurants n shops. We had breakfast at Moulins a French place which is excellent. We have frequented Laguna beach several times as we love it here. Many beautiful beaches. Heisler park is a very nice Park overlooking the water n have steps down to the coves. Laguna beach also has a free trolley which goes up the coast up to Dana point and into town. Great place!

A fun little beach town with so much to see and do!
A fun little beach town with so much to see and do! I only had one night there, but would love to go back. It's very walkable with lots of restaurants, shops and art galleries. The coast is diverse with plenty of sandy beaches and many rocky areas with tide pools as well.
Cute boutique hotel. Liked the simple designs, good taste, and quietness. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool had enough chairs to accommodate all current guests. They bring you coffee in the AM at your desired waking time in your room, which was a nice detail. They have yoga on Saturday morning on the roof top, which I enjoyed. The staff communicates via text and books reservations for you around town efficiently.
Pictures are not at all what the hotel is. Very bad, dirty, unkept room we received. It was outdated and unsanitary. Unfortunately they are taking advantage of people with the amount they charged a night. Staff is very kind but whoever makes decision on the rooms is terrible. I would like to ask the owner to stay in our room with their family for 550 a night. Coming from Vegas, it is totally unacceptable.
Our room was wonderful, really spacious with a huge bed and an outdoor terrace. We were close to the pool, which was really handy and perfect for a quick dip. There is a wine happy hour, where you can get a free glass of wine to enjoy in your room or by the pool and freshly baked cookies also served in the evening. You can walk everywhere from the hotel, it is very conveniently located.
The BEST location in Laguna Beach! You are literally a block from the beautiful picnic beach, no difficult intersections. You can park your car and forget it as there is grocery store 5 minute walk as well as restaurants. Also walkable to the main beach where you will find a plethora of surf shops, restaurants, art galleries and boutiques. The ambiance of the property is amazing.
Perfectly located boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious with lovely kitchenette’s and large fridge/freezer, the staff are incredibly helpful, free parking and across the road from a gorgeous beach. We loved that the hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas as well as throws for chilly spring evenings spent outside on the outdoor seating in front of our room. We will be back!
I loved the location for my family as it was very close to a beautiful beach, personally the best beach in all of Laguna Beach area. I also found the owner very helpful and accommodating. The price for the location was great and the free parking would have come in handy if we didn’t use Lyft.
The location is lovely and provided easy access to the Free Laguna Trolly, cool shops, and was only steps away from a lovely beach and close to restaurants like Oak and Driftwood Kitchen - both lovely spots in addition to the hotels own beautiful rooftop patio.
The hotel is just as beautiful as in the pictures! The lounge and breakfast areas are beautiful, with wonderful design and a beautiful ocean view. Staff is incredibly nice, always there for you! Complimentary breakfast was a bliss.
We had a great experience in the Art hotel.
staff was very friendly and helpful, hotel room was very clean and it was in excellent conditions, beach is just across the street and also stores and restaurants 5 minutes away.
The room was nice, clean, and surprisingly quit. The hotel is about a 15 min walk into Laguna Beach downtown. Crescent Beach is just a couple of blocks. The staff was great. This is about the best value in Laguna Beach.
The hotel has a wonderful staff and it is located in from of the ocean and a few minutes from the public beach. The pool is nice and the spa was also really nice. The restaurant has good food and we enjoyed the view.
Close walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The room is spacious, we felt very safe there. Ralph’s Supermarket opposite and parking bay just outside hotel was handy for Uber pick ups.
Would recommend.
Cute little beachy hotel conveniently located near art galleries and close to downtown Laguna Beach. Clean room with compact bathroom and adjoining closet/dressing area.
This is an iconic hotel. The location is world class. Service is outstanding. The food is very good. Pool rocks. And you are on the beach. On it. I love staying here.
