Unfortunately, we arrived late due to the Greyhound bus with three hours delay. We tried to do everything we planned to do. Would like to have spent more time at Graceland, such as visiting Elvis planes. Sun Studio tour was awesome, Beale St not too impressive. Found the music scene in Nashville better.

I was surprised at the number of medical facilities.
I was surprised at the number of medical facilities. I had heard Memphis is one of the most dangerous cities in America. So, I limited my excursions to daytime only. I passed on having to park at a parking garage and having to walk to Beale Street for an evening ghost tour.

For lovers of rock and soul music, it’s a great place to visit. Lots to see and hear. Good bars and restaurants, although food is almost exclusively fried. Peabody hotel with its duck parade is a lovely place to stay, or just visit. Graceland and Sun Studio well worth visiting.

Everyday was a new surprise - botanical gardens with tulips and dogwood at peak, art museum, Elvis' Graceland, walk across the Mississippi River on old train bridge, Lorraine Motel and National Civil Rights Museum, Sun Records Studio, big city shopping with NICE departlment store, Beale Street, South Main Street District, Chucalissa village of Mississipian culture mounds and great trails, rich neighborhoods, poor neighborhoons - and did I mention all the great food (real fried chicken, hush pupplies, fried okra, grits, bar-bq, coconut cake, pecan pie, Mississippi mud pie, and microbreweries to name a few. AND the people of Memphis are very friendly and welcoming.

This is a wonderful city to visit especially if you are interested in the music scene and the beginnings of rock and roll. There are many music related museums to visit, car museums and of course Graceland - which I highly recommend going to- even if you aren’t a huge Elvis fan. The museum is so well done , it’s quite fabulous. We went in a Mojo bus tour which had a musician onboard who was also the tour guide and super knowledgeable. That was great fun, we toured Sun Studio where many great musical talent emerged from.

First trip to Memphis. Came to see Graceland.
First trip to Memphis. Came to see Graceland. Booked hotel online. Probably would not have stayed there if just driving by. Didn’t appear to be best neighborhood. But location was close to Graceland. The staff was wonderful. There was gated parking which kind of scared me thinking I needed it but thankful they had it. Breakfast was wonderful! There is a Mexican restaurant in adjoining parking lot. Very good, again kind of scared me that they used a hand scanner to check for weapons before you go in. Hotel offered shuttle to Graceland which we used , very handy. We did not take in any other attractions in Memphis but loved our tour of Graceland. As far as the city, would probably not go back but showing my age. Too many people, too much traffic, I prefer National Parks and wildlife.
The hotel is located rather remotely from Memphis but right in the middle of Graceland where navettes are organised to reach Elvis' mansion. The rooms are prefect and very well decorated and restaurant and breakfast are available. Mini concerts featuring Elvis' songs are also organised in the lobby. The car can be parked outside and will be well guarded as there are constant security patrols (the overall area outside the hotel looks a bit unsecure - we visited a few supermarkets around and we were happy to be back to the hotel).
The location was good, just a short walk to Beale St but far enough away to enjoy a quiet night’s sleep. The hotel parking area was secure and I felt safe going to and from my car in the evening. Breakfast was what I anticipated for the reasonable cost of a Hotel in downtown Memphis. The spacious and attractive lobby was an unexpected plus that provided multiple comfortable gathering spaces. The staff were all friendly, attentive as well as professional. it was a very pleasant stay.
There was bugs all in the hotel there was mold all in the shower then when we towed him he gave us another room but in that room it was bugged out in the window then he gave us another room there was mold bugs in the room was very very dirty then when we asked for our money back he didn't want to give us our money back this was the worst hotel I ever in my life went to if you're looking for a hotel in Memphis do not go here this was the worst hotel ever
It was a very large hotel with lots of charm. The room was perfect for my large family. We have four kids so finding one room that can accommodate all 6 of us will always be at the top of my list! The breakfast was amazing! The staff was very friendly and the guys making the omelets were fantastic! The hotel was in a nice area that was about 20 minutes from down town Memphis.
Bright, spacious, modern and airy room. I wasn't expecting the standard to be so high actually so very pleasantly suprised. Offers value for money. Ammenities were excellent. Breakfast while limited was fine. Parking available. Centrally located, it's about a 10 minute walk to the Peabody Hotel, 15 mins to Beale Street.
The room was exceptionally clean. My towels were brand new. The room had been sanitized prior to my stay. The hotel was very safe and secure. The hotel is close to food and shopping adjacent Wolfchase Galleria. Walmart is around the corner. This is the best location to stay if visiting Memphis, everything is convenient.
Size of room was large and well equipped, location of hotel was great, staff was friendly. We had several unfortunate issues during our stay due to the hotel not being up to standard. This is not a 4 star hotel. The staff was apologetic and made their best attempt to remedy the issues. Beds are very comfortable.
The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and offered suggestions for dinner from the Bistro located in the hotel lobby. The airport shuttle to Memphis International was an added bonus for my 0300 check-in time. I felt safe in the hotel and with the shuttle driver.
Our room was great! We were upgraded to a King size bed and ended up with a corner room with great views of downtown Memphis. The spa experience was awesome and the hotel lobby/bar was nice to relax after dinner. The bartenders were exceptional and Anna was our favorite!
We were very satisfied with the hotel, because the rooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast was also good. Besides the hotel is very pretty and comfortable.
Whenever we go back to Memphis I would book that hotel again.
My car was broken into in hotel car park. Prior to parking there the staff advised me that it was safe to park there. After my car was broken into Memphis police advised that cars had been broken into in the exact same location a day earlier.
I've been looking forward to going to Memphis for a long time.
I used this hotel as a solo travel.
I had a very comfortable stay.
And stylish Room was the best.
It became a wonderful trip.
Thank you so much!!
Convenient location few minuted drive from downtown. Spacious rooms. The hotel is along a large road but quiet.
Appreciated the free inside parking including manned security guard at the entrance of the lot.
loved everything, the rooms, facilities, the coffee place to relax and have breakfast, a really cool, beautiful and comfortable hotel in the heart of Memphis, just across the Civil Rights Museum.
awesome hotel best in Memphis, located on Beale street which is great at night but has a strange atmosphere in the day, brand new hotel feel with fantastic roof bar and very nice pool area!
