We were in town to buy a car and were surprised by the modern growth of Ocala which we had not visited in a number of years. We were treated to a beautiful experience. The Porsche dealership was one of the best or plainly the best I've dealt with having owned a number of these fine cars. The Hilton was far above what I had imagined and the rolling pastureland hosting equine wonder was gorgeous. I think this must be one of the up-and-coming cities in Florida and it's location in the inland northern part of the state is much more convenient for travel and relatively safe from rising waters and hurricanes.

Ocala is filled with loud cars, loud obnoxious music, speeding cars and the police doesn't do anything about it. However, if I had a taillight out, I'm sure I would be stopped. Ocala is not a good destination to visit.

Downtown area, the Paddock Mall, and the airport area. We ate at Red Lobster, Golden Corral and Oceans Buffet, all were good. There are a plethora of eating places in Ocala. The traffic in Ocala is quite congested, but the street grid is easy to navigate.

The museum in Ocala was breathtaking, with a large and diverse collection of Asian artifacts , European art, and modern painting and sculpture.
The horses we saw on the drive there are gorgeous. The farms are pristine.
Ocala has a lot of traffic and long lights, just saying. We did not eat anywhere memorable and our room did not serve breakfast.
The trip to the museum made the entire experience for me. Lovely gift shop also.

The rooms smelled of mold the hallways smelled of mold.
The rooms smelled of mold the hallways smelled of mold. They did not clean the rooms daily. I had to get my own towels. They were not told to me that I had to request to change the tiles. They did not fix the beds or empty the garbage cans.

Quaint downtown. A lot of good looking restaurants.
Quaint downtown. A lot of good looking restaurants. The Ocala National Forest and surrounding attractions look nice. When thinking of Florida, people picture beaches, the theme parks of Orlando and the nightlife of Miami. Central Florida in general and Ocala in particular are a treasure that seems over looked.
I spend a good amount of time in hotels in Ocala and this is one of my favorites. The staff is always helpful, rooms are clean and comfy, they have an indoor pool, and the free breakfast is always pretty decent. This visit for breakfast they had some amazing breakfast burritos that someone made Spanish pulled pork with which I know takes hours to make. I appreciate the time and effort put into making my stay pleasant too. Thank you!
Exceptional front desk check in excellent excellent property beautiful pool out a full pool outdoors were cleaner than anywhere I've ever been the room was as nice as the Fairmont hotel in all modern up-to-date everything new I would come back just to stay for relaxing vacation it was perfect on my Trip and I can't give it any more than 10 stars seriously Don't miss this property if you're in the area in Ocala it was fantastic
The hotel was in the path of a tornado Saturday morning around 7;45... The staff handled the very challengeing situation remarkably. from the manager to the maintenence staff they jumped into action. They turned a horrible situation into calm. Several cars were totalled in the parking lot and got the property cleaned up quickly and professionally and with a smile.
The hotel's location was great, not far off the Hwy and easy to find. We liked having the horse pasture out back where we could drink coffee and watch them in the pasture. The pool was nice, but not as clean as one would expect from a Hilton. The staff we encountered were AMAZING!! Should we find ourselves in Ocala again, we'll definitely stay at the Hilton, again.
At first a person checking us in worrieda by stating that there's weird type of people that stay there and they wouldn't rent to us because we were here from Ocala but after the first night the other lady at the front register was very kind and nice and even switched my room so I can get more rest my daughter was in the hospital right across the street from the hotel
We stayed here on our way to Disney World. The front desk clerk was so welcoming! We were upgraded to a king suite, & received a text that our room was ready while driving to the property. The area around the hotel had numerous restaurants to choose from. The breakfast in the morning had many choices, all very good.
Hotel was bright, clean and fun. Always love having the kitchen area in the room to cook meals as we are normally at a tournament, helps to economize. Breakfast was good. The room was spacious, super clean and comfortable all around.
Pathetic hotel, don't dseserve to be one star let alone three start property. Room was dirty, bed headrest was in poor condition, blanket had burn holes and washroom was not clean.
Decent hotel, great access to I-75 and only 10 minutes to downtown Ocala. Hotel was clean and the staff was great. A couple of dollars less expensive than other hotels in the area.
The location of the hotel was awesome as it was just off of the highway. Free continental breakfast. Checking out was super easy. The staff was friendly, as they are in the South.
The hotel overall and kind staff. Never been to a hotel where the lobby/front desk was on the second floor but heard that’s common in city hotels. Not a complaint, just a comment.
Nice big rooms (Kingsize Rooms face the street - noisy, Queensize Rooms face to the side of the hotel - not so noisy), overall very very clean, nice gym facilities.
