The food was good at the free breakfast. They had scrambled eggs but no meat offerings during the 2 days we stayed. Plenty of juice options and yogurts and cereals. The location is in a business district area. You either had a view of the front parking lot or the pool area which backs up to a motel/apartment complex where huge heavy work trucks are parked. You really could not hear the large trucks from inside the room, but not much of a view at all.

The hotel's pricing was significantly higher than the value provided. Despite the advertised amenities, the actual experience fell short of expectations. Disappointingly, the quality of service did not justify the inflated cost.

The young lady at the front desk was super helpful and kind.
The young lady at the front desk was super helpful and kind. The wifi was down but pool was open. I did a load of laundry for $2.50. The overall atmosphere was high functioning and responsive to guests.

It is wonderful.
It is wonderful. Lots to do in town and plenty of fun parks & nature areas in town. The Sundial Bridge, Nature Concervancy. Getting around is fast & easy with great freeway system. Of course there are the mountains and rivers, etc. PLEASE, though, do NOT tell anyone! We'd like to keep our favorite vacation spots from becoming like LA 👌

Constant drip from ceiling directly above the toilet...
Constant drip from ceiling directly above the toilet dripping down on your head! Mouse ran across my foot and a cockroach came out from behind the fridge unit. Completely inoperable card lock (people had to prop door open with a rock) A bed that was so old that it was painful to use... we left horrified, traumatized, and in pain! I feel Completely ripped off! When the managent was informed they said sorry and refunded me the 20 dollars on the 40 dollar pet fee! Unacceptable! I feel Booking.com and Red Lion specifically, Ripped Me Off!
I like Oxford Suites setup of the rooms and general comfort. The best thing is the outdoor patio area, which is organized so that people with pets can both have breakfast with them (by bringing the plate outside) and enjoy their time with family members while they are in the swimming pool (we stayed outside with the dog while others were in the swimming pool area). The swimming pool is lovely and partly protected from the sun.
Great Location at a good price. The rooms are well appointed and large. Keyed entry to inside hallways to rooms are secure. We had a nice view of the courtyard and pool. The hotel is being remodeled and updated. The bathroom was clean. The hotel's lobby is grand and the breakfast/dining area is a large open room with lots windows. The food was good and there's a Pete's Coffee Bar located inside the breakfast area.
This is a remodeled property that feels like new. There's a spacious, pleasant lobby with places to plug in your devices, and ample parking including for small trucks. The breakfast was good. The neighborhood is mostly motels, very quiet, but there's an interesting deli nearby that is run by enthusiastic young people.
The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was a standard self-serve American hotel breakfast for those who just want something easy and quick so can get back on the road again.
The location is a few miles from the center of Redding but with quick access by Hwy 273 or I-5.
The location is great...from restaurants, coffee, and anything you may need is close by. The hotel has great staff and the rooms are clean and great. We love staying here when we visit redding. We have never had a problem and will continue to choose this place when we visit.
The breakfast was very good. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. I felt The Fairfield Inn & Suites provided my daughter and me an excellent value for our stay in Redding. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay. We would recommend the hotel and will stay again.
This was my second time staying at Hope Inn and if we are ever in Redding again, this will be our go to stay. The room was not only beautiful but it was the best night sleep I’ve had in years. It was quite, peaceful and beautiful. I recommend Hope Inn, very much!

The Hotel is in a perfect location for walking the oldtown and there are a lot recommendations nearby the Hotel.
This is a tired old hotel that needs TLC and isn't getting any.
We booked this hotel based on customer ratings. We stayed in many hotels of this vintage and this has to be one of the worst.
Average hotel; staff were always very friendly. One lady at night went out of her way to find a wine opener for the room… and although she provided a broken one, I appreciate the effort.
I had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western Plus in Redding, CA. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The linens were nice. And the towels were of good quality
