We liked our room. It was clean and well organized in a small space. It is very romantic to spend a night in a vintage train car, clime on it's steps, watch through the window outside, take a walk around the campus and see many other old historic train cars. My wife and had a great time and unique experience.

The Scottish Inn was close to a lot of outlets and restaurants and attractions. My sister and I did a lot of shopping and just relaxed. It was great to get away from the day to day routines. The staff asked every day if we needed anything. Staff was friendly and did not bother us unless we wanted something.
We love it tgere. Had a girls weekend planned… left home to go to Kroziar’s Christmas Village in Ronks, PA. We had a great start of our trip snd head to check in at the LaQuinta hotek for the first time. I remembered when it was built.. honestly we always stayed at the Amish View Inn & Suites.. but they were booked 12/8-10, and In glad they were… we now have a new favorite for many reasons.

The peaceful beautiful farm land across the street to see the sun come up is gorgeous. I loved not hearing anything or anybody from my caboose. It is SOOOooo quiet. I didn't have to worry about making any noise and disturbing anyone or being disturbed by anyone else. Very clean too. As soon as I opened the door and saw the bible laying OPEN on the table I KNEW THIS WAS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR ME! I have told all my family and friends about it already. Cannot wait to come back for a much longer stay...maybe forever! lol!

The entire area is interesting.
The entire area is interesting. We also visited Lititz and enjoyed that as well. Sight and Sound was our main objective, but shopping and sightseeing were a part too. Was disappointed in the Rockvale stores. Many are closed or out of business. the Tangent area was much better. In Litiz , we went to a pretzel tour and Wilbur's candies. We could have explored more but were limited on time. The scenery in the area is wonderful.

We were there for the quilt show and fabric shopping, so we already had knowledge of the area. Had we been new to the area, there was no 'tourist' information available at the rental to encourage us to explore the area, make us want to stay again or stay longer. Lack of bedside lighting made reading in bed impossible.
Perfect cozy hotel in the middle of all the attractions of the amish country. Ryan the host/owner of this hotel is a wonderful person and does his best to keep every single guest happy. I forgot my passport in the hotel and only found out about it when arrived to new york , i contacted ryan and he sent it to me with one of his relatives to new york! Not obvious at all and im really thankful for that. Other than that , good breakfast , wonderful location and super comfy beds
We were very happy with Weathervane's location, cleanliness, and comfort. We ended up here because the other places we've typically stayed at in Lancaster were full, but we will be back again for sure! While we like the indoor pool and free breakfasts at the other places, Weathervane more than made up for those things. The staff were especially friendly and helpful!
it was beautiful. the garden was gorgeous and well kept. Samuel at the desk was amazing. Really attentive and helped us plan our sightseeing spots. kept in touch throughout our stay. Who does that?? Nobody at any hotel or Motel I’ve ever stayed at. I give the hotel 5 stars. I give Samuel 10 stars. We will be back next year
The staff was very friendly. I was given fresh towels when I asked for them. They also provided an area to eat breakfast, and served coffee, tea, bagels, and cereal all complimentary. Additionally I was provided with a pack n play (crib) for my infant son. The hotel is right next to a ton of places to eat and shop.
This hotel is very good ,we 2 couples take room and I booked with booking.com and my other friend booked directly because she is American citizen.my room behalf of booking.com is not good but my friends room that directly taken from hotel is very very nice especially for price too
Hard surface floors in the living area were nice. Being used to carpet in most motel/hotel rooms has left me with a stigma about rentals. The flooring was basically the only thing worth mentioning in a positive manner besides the friendly staff.
I mean honestly it wasn't bad for the price. But if you have any bougie in you or are picky about hotel cleanliness and overall quality it may not be the place for you LOL. I will say the girl at the front desk was very friendly and polite
the room was nice but i wish the property has a little more to offer for the price. the hotel was so close to so many fun and exciting things. outlets, restaurants, Amish tours, gas stations, so many things. will be looking to stay again.
We had a wedding to attend in Holtwood and this hotel was 28 minutes away. Great location, Hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating with our early check in request. Room was clean. Great price.
Breakfast choices were wonderful! It also looked like they painted the halls and rooms! Nice upgrades and I am glad there are no more carpets on the room. Being pet friendly helps tremendously!
Clean and comfortable. Quiet location even though we were near main road. Perfect location for visiting Armish tour and restaurants and breakfast waffle bar over the road. Perfect.
