Toilet seat was broken and no mat for getting out of the shower to catch water.
The newly renovated Quality Inn & Suites hotel is located in the heart of Santee, just a quarter mile off Interstate 95 and is within one mile of Lake Marion, Lake Moultrie, and three golf courses:...
Location was close to highway. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Check in and Check out was fast and staff was very friendly. Staff mentioned nearby restaurants and had menus available to review.

Santee is a stopping point for us when we are traveling. It has a great Pro shop and a really good Mexican Restaurant. I know that they have at least one golf course, but have never played it. Santee as a whole looks like a nice little town.

They discriminated against my service animal and the overnight desk lady is unprofessional and very unaware of such esa/service animals. They made me keep my service animal in the car or cancel my (non-refundable) room. The manager was understanding when I called but everyone who has service animals or esa for ptsd BE AWARE, because they will discriminate and take away your animals rights. Very sad because the hotel was alright excluding this.

The front desk was very rude towards my siblings and I it’s almost has if because we were young African American women he treated us really bad! My siblings ended up getting their refund as they paid cash and went to another hotel ! I stayed there due to my card being used for the room instead of cash!

Friendly caring staff.
Friendly caring staff. Facilities clean and well maintained. Greeted upon arrival and thanked for our patronage upon departure. We were also asked what they could have done to make our stay better. Asked us if there were any areas they could improve upon. Someone in this location cares about their business and reputation and it shows! Kudos to management!!

Late night overnight front desk womam was great.
Late night overnight front desk womam was great. The older lady that check us in was rude, condescending and horrible customer service rep. She makes you want to turn around and leave. Our room had cracks all through the ceiling, cheapo cover up. Tissue holder in bathroom was all rusty. Not the best linens on the bed.
I arrived at 11:45 pm. I slept got up and left. The little I did experience was excellent. This means the check-in person was very professional, the rooms have always been up to par and the check-out person was very respectful. I have been coming to this hotel for the last 4 weekends due to business purposes in the area. I only use the hotel to rest. It has truly served the purpose for me and I have recommended it to others in my group. It's very convenient to the amenities in the area.
This place is located very close to I-95. So, if you're traveling along I-95, this location is just awesome. Besides, in this hotel every room has a separate entrance from the street, and you're parking just 2 feet from your room, which is extremely convenient. The breakfast was very nice. I mean, if you like powdered omelet and standard hotel sausages - this is a very good breakfast, one of the best. The room had a relatively large fridge, and a microwave.
Loved the location. Clean and we felt safe. Very quiet area. Beds were so soft but, wish I would have brought my own pillow. Loved the water pressure in the shower and the soap dispensers. There was one large roach in the bathroom. Considering you are in Santee it’s going to happen. So no biggie. We got some good sleep and staff was efficient and nice. We will use this location again.
Spent ten hours driving, booked this specific hotel because it said it had a restaurant and bar. We showed up an hour and a half before they we’re supposed to be closing. They turned us away. Then we wake up and there is no breakfast, coffee or anything else that was mentioned in the adds.
All rooms are on the first floor, very clean and pet friendly. Buffet breakfast was included and staff was very friendly.
Captains Quarters restaurant shares the same parking lot and their food is delicious. So nice to have something other than fast food when you are traveling.
Room was acceptable. The hotel's exterior looked deplorable but once in our room, it was comfy. The clerk was pleasant and the beds were spacious, clean and soft. We only stayed one night but given what we paid, it was just what we needed.
Seriously, the staff here are very polite and friendly, and it is a treasure of a find for a value hotel. The cleanliness is the biggest thing for me. I didn’t feel like I needed to come in and clean the room myself. Great stay, Travelodge!
Very cosy, comfortable and thoughtfully & artistically designed. Wonderful high end touches including the bath robes high end towels. Worlds away from the boxy rooms in the chain hotels. A lovely little escape!
Location, pet friendly (gave my dogs snacks), very clean hotel, decorated nicely, nice breakfast, every staff member said hi and was friendly (especially the team who put out the breakfast)
I love this hotel because it's the perfect stop between our homes in Florida and Tennessee. I mad a mistake with dates booking on your app and the staff at the hotel took care of it easily.
It is what it is - a quick pull off of I-95 hotel. Don't expect more and you won't be disappointed. Breakfast was usual for these sorts of places but close to other options.
I stayed at this particular hotel because it was relatively close the funeral home we used to bury my mother, and close to relatives I wanted to visit after.
