The hotel did fine. The general area surrounding it not real great. The good news is it is close to the interstate and nice but if you are thinking about restaurants or looking around the area not so nice.

Kitchen staff were the friendliest and most helpful. Nice facilities.
The newly renovated Quality Inn & Suites hotel is located in the heart of Santee, just a quarter mile off Interstate 95 and is within one mile of Lake Marion, Lake Moultrie, and three golf courses:...
Location was close to highway. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Check in and Check out was fast and staff was very friendly. Staff mentioned nearby restaurants and had menus available to review.

Santee is a stopping point for us when we are traveling. It has a great Pro shop and a really good Mexican Restaurant. I know that they have at least one golf course, but have never played it. Santee as a whole looks like a nice little town.

They discriminated against my service animal and the overnight desk lady is unprofessional and very unaware of such esa/service animals. They made me keep my service animal in the car or cancel my (non-refundable) room. The manager was understanding when I called but everyone who has service animals or esa for ptsd BE AWARE, because they will discriminate and take away your animals rights. Very sad because the hotel was alright excluding this.

The front desk was very rude towards my siblings and I it’s almost has if because we were young African American women he treated us really bad! My siblings ended up getting their refund as they paid cash and went to another hotel ! I stayed there due to my card being used for the room instead of cash!

Friendly caring staff.
Friendly caring staff. Facilities clean and well maintained. Greeted upon arrival and thanked for our patronage upon departure. We were also asked what they could have done to make our stay better. Asked us if there were any areas they could improve upon. Someone in this location cares about their business and reputation and it shows! Kudos to management!!

Late night overnight front desk womam was great.
Late night overnight front desk womam was great. The older lady that check us in was rude, condescending and horrible customer service rep. She makes you want to turn around and leave. Our room had cracks all through the ceiling, cheapo cover up. Tissue holder in bathroom was all rusty. Not the best linens on the bed.
We're a family of 6 traveling by car long distance. The front desk called us to confirm our reservation in the evening, to make sure we were ok since we were late to check in. There's nothing worse than driving 10hrs half way with kids only to arrive at the hotel have the reservation wrong! Not so here, they were ready and waiting!
Front desk helped find snacks for the kids too.
The cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, even at higher star hotels. The breakfast ladies went above and beyond.
We arrived at the Santa BW much earlier than anticipated. We inquired as to whether or not it might be possible to cancel the Santee reservation and have a new BW res made several hours down the road. The clerk was extremely obliging and changed the reservation with not hassle and no charge. Great service@
Convenience of parking close to room. We were traveling with our dog and I've found that hotels with doorways facing out seem quieter than hotels with inner hallways. Fewer disturbances for the dogs. I think this hotel spaced the guests with dogs out instead of grouping them close together which also helps.
Spent ten hours driving, booked this specific hotel because it said it had a restaurant and bar. We showed up an hour and a half before they we’re supposed to be closing. They turned us away. Then we wake up and there is no breakfast, coffee or anything else that was mentioned in the adds.
I love this hotel because it's the perfect stop between our homes in Florida and Tennessee. I mad a mistake with dates booking on your app and the staff at the hotel took care of it easily.
It is what it is - a quick pull off of I-95 hotel. Don't expect more and you won't be disappointed. Breakfast was usual for these sorts of places but close to other options.
I stayed at this particular hotel because it was relatively close the funeral home we used to bury my mother, and close to relatives I wanted to visit after.
