This room is perfect for our needs as it has a sofa for me to sit on for my medical needs and two very comfortable and clean beds. The dispensers in the bathtub ( shampoo, conditioner & body wash) were an extra bonus. The breakfast choices available were many and the hours for being available were great (6-10am) The front desk staff were supper friendly and helpful.
We loved our visit to Warrenton and surrounding area.
We loved our visit to Warrenton and surrounding area. There is so much to see and do. It is located between Fort Stevens and Astoria, so you have the experience of the city and the coast. The batteries at Fort Stevens, as well as the historical center, should not be missed. Fort Clatsop provides info and demos of how Lewis & Clark survived the winter there. There's lots of beach, including the shipwrecked Peter Iredale. There are a lot of stores for shopping and, of course, a Dairy Queen for blizzards!

We didn't really stay there to visit the town of Warrenton, but to visit Astoria. Fort Stevenson is interesting as is Ft Stevenson state Park and campground area. The ship wreck of the Peter Iredale is interesting and a fun photo op as well. Warrenton itself doesn't really have much going on.

We love this quiet little town, centrally located between some awesome beaches and touristy towns. 5-10min to Fort Stevens to see the shipwreck and all of the batteries, 20 min drive south to Seaside, 30 min drive north to long beach and cape disappointment.

Didn't see much of the neighborhood but of that which I did observe from just driving around was that a lot of houses and yards were terribly neglected and some abandoned. Fortunately the Shilo facility was located at the edge of town so as to not be adversely impacted by the rather run down neighborhood.
The location was perfect! This is the 2nd time my family and I have been to this house. We are very simple family so it did give cozy vibes. Sunset beach was just close enough for us to walk, it felt like it was in our backyard most of the time. Most importantly it had a coffee shop on the same road. And it has the most delicious pastries. I love the experience this home offers. Seaside and Cannon beach is not far of a commute just about 30 minutes overall. Forever will keep booking this home when heading to Oregon.
Staff was great. They helped us by getting us extra towels and pillows. Very friendly every time we entered or exited the hotel. Location is perfect for getting to Astoria or south to Cannon beach or seaside. Even was a short drive north to Long Beach, Washington
It’s close to a lot of stores, food, and places to visit. Very short drive to Astoria, Seaside, etc. The front desk lady we saw for most of our stay was very nice and got us the supplies we requested, like new sheets, extra pillow and towels.
I was going to stay in Astoria but the hotel is very expensive. Shilo is only 5 minutes away from Astoria. Lewis & Clark national park and fort Stevens also within distance very convenient
Polite staff that treats you with respect. Clean facility that is conveniently located between two major beach towns. Great value! All that you would expect from a Shilo Inn.
