This place is absolutely MAGICAL and Christophe, the owner is superb! He made our stay so enjoyable and was very prompt to communicate. He went above and beyond for us. We didn't want to leave! The view is absolutely gorgeous and even better in person! My husband and his friends particularly enjoyed the game room! Wow! Everything about the house and the view was superb. Bedrooms were comfortable, exceptionally clean, airy, tastefully aesthetic with lots of good energy. The view of the bay is breathtaking. We got in late at night and finding the house was a challenge because we didnt have wifi and it was dark. Our host Vaitea was concerned and went to airport looking for us. We met up at the house minutes after each other. I appreciated his concern and efforts to locate our whereabouts. Location is central and we found nearby supermarket that sold local eats from raw fish in coconut milk to fresh fruit and pastries.

The location was perfect close to the airport and the facility was so perfect we had no stress and it could house our whole family. The pool was the best part but to be able to live in a home away from home was magic. The keys were collected at night so was challenging to find in the dark.

Location is super close to the airport which is important to us because we arrived late and needed to depart at 5am back to airport for one night stay. The host was very communicative and also helped us book airport transfers. That’s awesome. Self checkin was fairly easy as well.

Tahia had left the outside light on for us and the room felt cosy when we arrived. We felt welcomed. Tahia even kindly gave us a ride back to the airport the following morning so we could collect our rental car. There is a local bakery that is a short walk down the hill so you can grab some pastries and coffee for breakfast on the run. Awesome place to stay for a short stop.

She was great at picking us up and dropping us off at the airport, it’s a great location for this, but would also be great for exploring more of Tahiti too. She also arranged a ride to the cruise terminal for us, and was willing to arrange other things at our request. We were presented with necklaces when we departed as well. The bungalow was very nice, with air conditioning and little touches like a fruit plate, drinks in the refrigerator, and some other food items. There was a swimming pool for our room, which was awesome.

We chose this area as a one night option close to the airport. The owner also organised a tour for us which was excellent, and pick up from the ferry, a trip to the supermarket and then a lift to the airport. In reality it was a sort of one stop shop for everything we needed in Papeete. It may not be the Hilton, but I think much better value for money.

An added bonus was that the property has three cars to rent and Tahia provided us with a fantastic tour itinerary.
