The house is spacious and sits in a large, quiet meadow located in a picturesque village near Ioanina. it was clean and well stocked with towels, dishes, commodities etc. Hot water in both showers, host is very nice and accommodating. Highly available as they live right next door. The house is a treasure chest of quaint artwork and curious, eclectic pieces such as vintage dolls. There is a washing machine. The house is more suited for adults than children.

At this stay you really get to see village life every body walking past and all friendly having a chat sadly we couldn’t understand them but that didn’t stop them trying really nice. We didn’t meet the host but when we were low on wood someone was called and it was delivered. We are pet people and we enjoyed visits from the local dogs and cats look out for the little shepherd dog who Leeds the goats up the mountain from the shed at the back. The steps that go up to the bedroom are not for the faint hearted we had no problem but if you were infirm it maybe an issue. All in all a good stay. If you’re unsure how to find the house drop into the coffee shop opposite the town square and Nikos he is a great bloke and very helpful. we were lucky enough to see storks on the bell tower. The old bridges in this area are incredible.
