We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

Quinta de São Luiz The Vine House tiene piscina, terraza, restaurante y vistas al río. Se encuentra en Tabuaço y ofrece alojamiento con ofrece. Qunita de Sao Luiz is located high off the main road and has the most amazing view across the Duoro River & Valley. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed with everything you need on hand -they are extremely quiet and peaceful. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with an excellent selection. All in all it was a fabulous stay and one night wasn't long enough.

ALDEIA DA MARGARIDA está en Tarouquela y dispone de vistas al jardín, piscina de temporada al aire libre, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Great spot to come down. We truly felt welcome and the host & especially the lady who took care of us the whole stay where great. Awesome self cooked dinner and fresh chestnuts which where picked up in their own gardens as an add on tasted delicious. A place to be not only sleep! Thank you and we will recommend you for sure.

La Quinta do Valdalágea se encuentra en Peso da Régua, a 4,2 km del Museo del Duero y a 10 km del santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, y ofrece alojamiento con WiFi gratuita, aire... The Quinta do Valdelágea was lovely. It had my essential requirements: a good shower with plenty of hot water and comfy beds. The breakfast was delicious and especially nice the last day when we could eat outside. Anabel was most helpful. This was probably our favorite place in our entire Portugal stay.

Hosts are amazing, ready to welcome you and to make you feel at home. Staff is super prepared and helpful to satisfy your needs (we travelled with a little dog). Breathless view on the valley from the pool, marvellous restaurant with quality dishes, clean and warm room and stunning Porto experience with the excellent Carlos.

Canastro Country House, que tiene bicicletas gratis, jardín y terraza, ofrece alojamiento en Castelo de Paiva con wifi gratis y vistas a la montaña. Hermoso el lugar, la decoración. Todo muy prolijo y limpio. La atención excelente. Camas cómodas.

El Douro Suites, situado en Baião, en la región Norte, a 43 km de Oporto, ofrece piscina exterior y bañera de hidromasaje. Guimarães está a 41 km. Se facilita aparcamiento privado gratuito. El entorno y la confortabilidad de la suite. El personal que nos atendió fue muy amable. Ha sido una estancia estupenda.

La Casa de Campo das Sécias está situada en Vilas Boas, que forma parte de la localidad de Vila Flor. Host very helpful in allowing me to use her printer to print boarding passes. Breakfast was not just the standard continental bread and coffee, but included fruit, cereals, range of breads and toast and condiments and cheeses, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Room was large. Area is very quiet.
