We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

A trip to Tourem is like time travel. It is mesmerising,out of this world. Casa de Campo Gracinda is a typical village natural stone house, restored to high and very tasteful standard. The rooms are warm and cosy with great on-suite facilities. The kitchen and lounge is very well equipped and comfortable. Unforunately our trip was accompanied by bad and cold weather, but the house was warm cosy and made more then up for it.

We had a private wine tasting accompanied by good conversation. Breakfast was outstanding.

Hosts are amazing, ready to welcome you and to make you feel at home. Staff is super prepared and helpful to satisfy your needs (we travelled with a little dog). Breathless view on the valley from the pool, marvellous restaurant with quality dishes, clean and warm room and stunning Porto experience with the excellent Carlos.

Aiavaatega Quinta de Santa Marinha asub Castedos, 41 km kaugusel Douro muuseumist ja 35 km kaugusel Mateuse paleest. Basseini- ja jõevaatega majutusasutus jääb Natur veepargist 28 km kaugusele. This was the highlight of our trip. We had the most peaceful 3 nights at Quinta de Santa Marinha, and I would go back as soon as I can. The staff were some of the friendliest people I have ever met, and they did everything they could to make our stay incredible. The views from the B&B were breathtaking, the breakfast was delicious, and the pool incredible as well. Close to other vineyards in the area. Would recommend to anyone!!

Breakfast was not just the standard continental bread and coffee, but included fruit, cereals, range of breads and toast and condiments and cheeses, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Room was large. Area is very quiet.

Moleiro de Baçal asub Baçalis kivist maamajas, kõigest 7 km kaugusel Bragançast. Kohapeal on mugavad toad ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Moleiro de Bacal is a lovely country home located just outside of Braganca. Maria Jose is the most gracious hostess. Our room was huge with a spacious terrace outside of our bedroom where you can sit in the shade and enjoy the afternoon breeze. Maria Jose will schedule your homecooked breakfast at the time you wish - huge portions of scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, bread, coffee and her homemade jams. We were within a 15 to 20 minute drive of the modern city of Braganca which we enjoyed exploring the fort and the Museum of Masks. One evening we had the most delicious wild game dinner at the Restaurante Solar Braganca in town. We also drove up to the tiny village of Rio de Onor one afternoon and the village of Montesinho on another day. So quiet and relaxing. We highly recommend staying with Maria Jose in her beautiful country home.
