We enjoyed walking around and exploring the historical building and the antique furniture. I loved the preservation of the other buildings that were not attached yet designed as bedroom suites as well. The restaurant "Peggy on the Green" was pleasant and the food delicious. The walkway attached leads to the Guadelupe river, where the ducks and other wildlife thrive. The shops nearby were lovely and interesting.YvetteFamily with young children

The room was incredibly comfortable and I love the little interior design touches to the room. The surrounding landscape is just absolutely beautiful and i like that we have easy access to the resort and the large outdoor fire pit areas. The staff were super friendly and accomodating. We forgot to order drinks for dinner from La Cascada restaurant so when we ordered it at dinner time, they even put the chocolate bars we got from the La Tienda on the house due to the wait!
