Perfect place to stay near Hollywood and Universal Studios park. The room was very clean and the hotel is quiet, not a lot of noises in the night.

Have really enjoyed our stay at The Tangerine. Location is in a very safe area with a 15 or so minute walk to Wholefoods and an amazing Mexican restaurant that we enjoyed right next door. Rooms are spacious and very clean with A/C for warmer days. The water pressure for the shower was good. Pastries and a really decent unlimited coffee machine in the reception area were a great touch to our stay. The heated pool was enjoyable after a full day of exploring. Very close to Warner bros and universal studios so handy if that’s your reason to stay in this area. Would highly recommend The Tangerine!

The friendliness of the staff was unparalleled. Very accommodating, welcoming, supportive, and so much more. I had nothing but great interactions with the employees. They were highly responsive to every issue I presented them with. And they offered nothing but the best help in return. The location is one of the best. It's about 15-20 minutes drive from everywhere you want to see in Los Angeles -- which is very convenient. Rarely would you find yourself at a lack of areas to explore because the drive is too long. It's everything you can ask for and more for a stay. The hotel lives up to its name of being historic. Everything about it feels like a relic from a lost period of Hollywood. As a fan of ancient cinema, I found this to be quite the scene stealer. If you're a fan of being in a place where it feels like you're resurrected in a Black & White movie, this is it.
