The main house is beautiful and the pool and hot tub are fantastic amenities. The robes they lend to guests to keep cosy after using either are also a great addition. I love the wooden gift apples, that will be a treasured memento of the stay. The warm cookies you get when arriving are also so good, perfect with the hot cider available at reception. Having a gas fire in the room was also super, being able to watch real flames is always a comfort. The restaurant for breakfast was excellent, we didnt eat in the evning so cannot comment on dinner. The standout for me though, was the exceptional service from everyone I encountered. I have already recommended staying here to a couple I met in San Francisco.
