Featuring a gourmet breakfast served daily, this historic hotel is located in Central Asheville just 6 miles from the Biltmore Estate. Guests can also enjoy afternoon wine and hors d’oeuvres. The staff were absolutely lovely. Food (daily breakfasts and our 3 course Thanksgiving dinner) was delicious (congrats to the chef) and wine time with aperitif trolley every afternoon in the cozy lounge by the fire was the icing on the cake. We loved this place!

This unique hotel is 3 miles from downtown Asheville and within Biltmore Village. The hotel features a spa with massage service and and guestrooms with flat-screen TVs.. Everyone was fantastic from the parking guys to the bartenders. Actually, the female bartender (sorry don't know name) was funny and enthusiastic as well as a great mixologist! Mary in the restaurant was also exceptional.

Offering an outdoor pool and views of the pool, Shutters on the Banks is situated in Kill Devil Hills, 7 km from Nags Head. Everything was very comfortable. Beach so easy to get too and close. The breakfast was delicious.
