All the staff were super helpful. The room was large and the grounds were really in tune with Texas-style. Open fires, a pool, games... the bar had live music on the weekends. All round great atmosphere.

They hold some packages that I asked.Thank you very much. Basic breakfast and very caloric. There is a happy hour between 5:30 pm and 7 pm with 3 drinks, alcoholic or not, and food with emphasis on popcorn. The drinks are good.Food like mashed potatoes, hot dog ,meatballs,etc. For vegetarians only popcorn.Should improve for vegetarians. But it's a hotel, not a restaurant, so it doesn't matter. And a good hotel.

It is an historical hotel; the oldest West of the Mississippi. It was well maintained with exceptional architecture and cleanliness. The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially Tim Smith at the front desk. There is a lovely buffet available for lunches and brunches; one needs 2-3 stomachs to try everything. The hotel boasts a pool and a garden that you can sit in to read your paper. What will strike you when you first enter is the lovely scent, which was especially designed for it. The hotel is definitely value for money, and better than most 4-star hotels in New York.
