Built in 1873 on the lush green and quiet Margaret Island in the centre of Budapest, the Ensana Grand Margaret Island offers a spacious spa area with a selection of treatments. Staff at the reception desk were very kind and welcoming, Janos and Balint in particular. I initially booked for three days and then extended for another three and they gave a slightly larger room with a balcony I found both rooms I stayed in clean, the bathrooms spotless and the room service efficient along with the cleaners being very friendly including a nice Russian speaking one The breakfast was perfectly adequate, fresh and tasty, plus the staff in that area were always smiling and prompt with their assistance. The omelettes that they make on demand really hit the spot I would be amiss if I didn't mention the spa facilities, at the sister hotel just down the road and connected by a super convenient underground tunnel. At this place, I found Patrick and Dominica to be very welcoming and helpful, they explained everything clearly and were eager to help. The whole area is clean, and the infrared sauna is great, with the different pools of thermal waters being a must! There is magic in those sulphurous Magyar springs

Uniquely situated on the quiet and green Margaret Island in the heart of Budapest, the modern Ensana Thermal Margaret Island offers free use of its large spa area, an indoor and an outdoor pool, and... Everythhing was fine. Rooms are great. Hotel offered free of charge upgrade of room due my husband Birthday. As also welcome sweet surprise. Hotel has good spa with 5 swimming pools and 4 baths. Breakfast has a lot of choice. You can eat also something in lobby bar. Personal is polite. Highly recommended.

Island Hostel Budapest has a cheerful atmosphere and is located on the car-free Margaret Island, surrounded by nature. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms with toilet and shower within the room, huge terrace overlooking the Danube with hammocks, sofas, grill, fantastic location on Margit island right next to nice bars, excellent value for money.
