Beautiful breakfast restaurant overlooking a lovely garden. Great food. Lovely Japanese touches to the architecture and rooms. Perfect location for exploring Kyoto's sights.

The manager let us check in early. We were super exhausted. I booked Garden River Suite but got a free upgrade to Executive River Suite and delicious afternoon tea treats. It was a super location close to all the sites we wanted to visit. Luxurious ambiance, new property, and great care for detail, service and cleaning. The concierge booked a fantastic Kaiseki for us- super attention, organization, and real love for their work. 🍾 🥂

Located within a 11-minute walk of Heian Shrine and 0.8 miles of Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple, Guest House Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13438 has rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Kyoto. Nishimura-san and his wife were really adorable with us ! Everything in their home is beautiful and made us felt like home. The location is extremely convenient to visit touristic places and Tadashi Nishimura gave us a map with a recommanded tour which was really useful !

Our favourite stay during our trip to Japan. The hosts were very welcoming and always happy to help us with our questions! I would recommend this guest house to anybody considering to visit Kyoto. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but not too far from some major tourist attractions. The hosts also suggested a walk around the neighbourhood with some lovely quiet/calm temples.
