From the minute the cab pulled up I felt like I’d gone back in time. Oh, it’s completely modern, with individual ac and good showers alright. But it seems like something out of a movie, an eccentric independent comedy when life was good and there was a kind of innocent charm despite the cool modernist vibe. The two desk managers spoke fluent English and were both effective and charming in dealing with my several offbeat issues. The place was full of couples who seemed to be there for a day or two (Not hours!) to have a fun few days, most of them Asian and the odd Westerner who seemed much less fun than the former. I felt right at home with the large Turkish population (great food) and occasional girl gang, right at home with working class surroundings, and Itaewon is full of local service workers. There’s smoking and drinking on a few corners, lots of lovely pig restaurants, pet dogs from Pomeranians to Great Pyrenees, I even saw a laid back Border Collie. I like busses over subways and lots were nearby. Fast food joints, tourist junk shops, Trans bars and a tailor and coffee houses. KFC, McDonald’s, Subway. A convenience store on every corner. There’s even a grocer a few blocks away where you will see… fruit!

Die Unterkunft Seoul Cube Itaewon, die in Seoul gelegen ist und von der aus The Shilla Duty Free Shop Main Store in weniger als 3,7 km erreichbar ist, bietet einen Conciergeservice, Nichtraucher... perfect place, super friendly staff, only drawback is that on saturday night the nearby club is playing music until 4 am and its loud...but great location and good value for money. Definitely would stay there again. Staff was very sweet

Das G Guesthouse Itaewon liegt nur 1 Gehminute vom U-Bahnhof Itaewon (Linie 6) und 15 Fahrminuten vom Bahnhof Seoul entfernt. The owners and the staff are really nice and helpful if you need anything they’ll do it for you and that’s great, the location is perfect you have everything around the guesthouse.

The owner was very nice and helpful. It's placed in a great location. Up the hill is a party street and down the hill you have a big nice convenience store and a 7/11 down the way with an ATM for currency.
