We had the most amazing stay at Nam Ly - one of our highlights of Vietnam. Nam Ly is surrounded by panoramic views of rice fields - the most spectacular scenery we have seen in Vietnam. We took a trek one day with a local guide who knew the best routes and we learned about the Black Dao ethnic minority and their culture. It was also great to just relax on a hammock with views of the rice fields in the sun, and enjoy great food at the homestay (they cater well for vegetarians). Mr Lee, the owner, couldn’t have been more helpful - he organised our travel from Ha Giang and back to Hanoi and answered all sorts of questions. He was very responsive and always looking to support - the best host you could imagine.

I didn’t need to bother about anything. The food was delicious throughout the whole trip and the hotels were great. Chi was my driver and he was great, did a super job and was funny and friendly. Really comfortable private room with a large bed and air conditioning, but more importantly very kind and helpful owner, who helped us a lot in a difficult situation in the loop. Due to food poisoning we were unable to continue the loop. We contacted the owner and he arranged a bus to bring us back to Ha Giang along with the rented motorbike from Ma Pi Long where we had to stop. We are very grateful for the kindness and hospitality. HagiangGo is the place to come for the loop.

We stayed in one of the private bungalows, the beds were comfy and everything was nice and clean. Ross and his team were super helpful, helping to retrieve the licence we had left 90km south by mistake. He also helped and gave tips on the route we had planned.

The English was superb by most staff. Honestly couldn't have asked for an easier experience, arriving late afternoon, booking, and then doing the tour the very next day. The easy rider drivers were all super safe and we had the best time. For the Hostel, the private double rooms were large with a spacious bathroom. Bed was comfy and the breakfast was adequate. Would stay again.

Nearby some of local cheap restaurants. We ended up to stay one extra night cause we liked the place. Would recommend and stay again if ever visiting ha giang. Good place to meet other travellers.They had the cutest little dog, decent breakfast and you can refill your water bottle. Staff was really helpful, we didn't do the loop but the staff will organize that for you if needed
