The house is really convenient, Makoto san and the staff are really nice and will help you as much as they can! + people in the guesthouse are usually really nice too! you’ll definitely make friends if you’re traveling alone ! everything is clean and organized, you can really feel a sense of home if you can live in community and stay a little more than a few days

Location is convenient and quiet. A little small for 4 (as it’s Tokyo) but has everything. Clean! The host Kasuki sen is super nice and patient. Very helpful showing us around his community.

The room was a good size and came with a small kitchen. Many heaters were provided. The area was very quiet. Very close to shimokitazawa station and shops.

very cozy apartment, the shower was shared but it was never occupied since it is shared between only a couple of rooms and it is very clean as the owner cleans it everyday. the shampoos and conditioner left my hair silky soft and i loved the feeling on sleeping on japanese style beds. the owner was an absolute delight he even left us a basket of chocolates everytime he cleaned our room which was every third day and sheets changed after five days. he was very helpful with all information we needed and recommended us some good sakura viewing spots.

The owner, Satoshi, is a lovely person! He was very helpful and knowledgeable for someone who has never travelled to Japan (or anywhere out of Australia for that matter!) made my first overseas hostel a great experience. His English is great too! The other guests were also kind and easy to spend time with in the communal area, I think this place attracts nice people haha

The host is super welcoming and friendly, and the inn is very clean. The bed and the room is so comfortable that we had a really good sleep. The location is perfect close to the airport, and lots of resturant choice nearby.

Amazing location, lovely staff, clean and comfortable room and bathroom. They give you free snacks which are really good too!

The couple which run this place are absolutely beautiful people. We were lucky to be the only guests staying for the night and the owner went out of his way to pick us up and drop us off at the station. We felt well accommodated the entire time. The western breakfast they serve is incredible. Our only regret was staying here for just a single night.

Just perfect: I really felt at home in Yanaka, the room was so beautiful and clean and the "the whole town is your hotel" concept gave me the chance to try many things I would probably have missed otherwise (just to name one, the late night sentō.. thanks Fuyu!). The staff was so friendly and helpful (thanks Momo for all explanation about the post office delivery!). I will go back someday
