This is the best hostel we've stayed in during all of our Japan trip. Staff/hosts are exceptional, absolutely welcoming people. They speak English pretty well (which is rare in Japan). The bar is super nice and a great place to meet travellers or chat with the staff. The rooms are very comfortable. The owner's recommendations of where to go and what to do are SUPERB, this is worth gold. We absolutely loved it here. Thank you Mako & crew for having us! :-)

Shimanami Osayo no Yado - Vacation STAY 16166 is set in the Ikuchi Island district of Onomichi, 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple and 31 km from Saikokuji Temple. Location, excellent for midway stop in Imbari to Ominichi bike ride.

We actually were on our bicycles to get there and no problem locating the hotel. There's plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel, if you come by car. Facilities are great. We stayed in shared dorm using shared bathroom which is no issue for us at all. Bunk bed is quite comfy and quiet at night. Bathroom is squeaky clean, very very clean! We love everything here and will definitely plan a trip to stay here again!

Beach Villa Tachibana er staðsett í Onomichi, 5,8 km frá Saikon-ji-hofinu, 6,4 km frá Oogamiyama Omoto-helgiskríninu og 15 km frá Senkoji-hofinu. Perfect sight seeing spot is directly on the mountain behind the villa. Super delicious creperie at the harbour 5 min on foot. Calm and zen.
