Situated in remote island of Shiraishi, Shiraishi Island International Villa offers accommodation surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed our stay at International Villa on this small, but beautiful island. The view is absolutely worth it’s price and the room was clean and modern furnished. The house offers everything you need, there is a shared space outside as well as an living room and a spacious kitchen. If you plan to cook, you won’t miss anything. Also the check-in went easy an the manager was very friendly and kind.

Guest House Toranjyo-lit is set in Tamano, 60-minutes from Takamatsu via ferry and 60-minutes from Okayama via train or bus. Guests can enjoy the on-site cafe. The house is a beautiful traditional house near the ferry. We loved our stay here, as the manager was super friendly and helpful. We stayed with our 8 month old son and they had organised a baby bed which was very appreciated! :) Thank you for a wonderful stay.

200 metres from Rian Bunko Art Museum, Lino下伊福 is a recently renovated property located in Okayama and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. It is a large accomodation for Japanese standards. It is located within a residential district where you do not come across other tourists. There is a very good sushi restaurant only 5-8 min from the accomodation.

The whole place is spacious and the host provides delicious dinner for you, the location is a bit far away from city centre and major attractions but if you are driving then it will not be a problem

Location is right in the middle of a scenic area, with access to food and other shopping

Temari Yukikai is an absolute gem. Our own little Japanese inn for two nights. You will be treated to an amazing experience with the kindest hosts and very thoughtful touches each day. From a welcome drink and treat, to sleeping kimono to use, to afternoon drinks and treats. They even made reservations for us at a head spa and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Staff was very friendly, price was reasonable rooms and hostel are clean amenities are great to get the best out of your stay. totally recommendable. It’s not a dorm so it’s perfect.

Set within 1.1 km of Hourseshoe Crab Museum and 4.3 km of Kasaoka Sun Plaza, オーベルジュ美の浜 流石 provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kasaoka. This little hotel which I mainly booked to break up our driving journey between destinations turned out to be a little gem. It was quaint clean and had a beautiful traditional Japanese garden outlook from our room and the best dinner we had in Japan. The food was top notch and so delicious it melted in your mouth. Definitely book the meal option 😊

Nestled in the beautiful countryside, Okayama Hostel Igusa is a traditional 50-year old Japanese-style home that has been renovated into a guesthouse. The host was very kind and very helpful. They have a very beautiful garden on the property.
