Our B & B is a hilltop property surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We are located a short 10 minute drive from the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. There are 38 acres for our guest to enjoy. A great location to take in breathtaking views, watch for shooting stars and fireflies, and listen to crickets and bullfrogs.

My husband Dave and I are generational inn keepers. His grandmother and grandfather operated a boarding house in West Virginia during the early 1900s. My great, great paternal grandmother and grandfather operated a B & B just a couple of miles from where our B & B is now located. They serviced guest during the horse and carriage era when it was a 2 day journey to the closet market. My favorite hobbies are photography and travel and getting to know our guest. We try to make everyone feel welcome and treat them like one of the family.

We live in a very safe rural neighborhood. So safe, that locking your car at night is only an option not a requirement. The B & B sits among 36 secluded acres, with the Blue Ridge Mountains as our back drop. The hilltop B & B is surrounded by rolling hills, fruit trees, and towering evergreen trees. We have walking trails, stocked fishing ponds and a bird habitat right in our front yard. Our nearest town is 12 miles south of us in North Carolina, Mount Airy, otherwise known as Mayberry. I did say that correctly! Mount Airy is the real town where Andy Griffith was born and raised. The fictional town of Mayberry was modeled after Andy's home town. Some of you may be two young to remember the Andy Griffith show, but you will fall in love with the friendly people, quaint shops, wineries and great places to eat during your visit. We can't wait to show you our little part of the world.
