Sleeping on the floating island on the lake Titicaca was an amazing experience for us! All rooms have wonderful views over the Titicaca. We watched sunset from the bed on our terrace, it was absolutely amazing. Eddy and his family was perfect hosts and we enjoyed our stay a lot. They cooked very good dinner (10usd per person) and breakfast for us and we also had a lot of coca tea. We also had a tour around Uros islands (10 usd per person) with Eddy which was very interesting. He speaks good English what is not so common in South America.

Cesar gave us a very nice tour around his community and answered lots of our questions. He also took us to his son's school to pick him up. We saw how the elementary school was run in the community and got to meet the children and teachers, which was a very unique and memorable experience. Lucy fed us really well with different kinds of food, including trout, chicken and fruits. The view was amazing from our room. We saw some pink and purple thunderstorm at night. The bed was very comfortable with soft linens. It was cold at night and hot in the middle of the day, so prepare to wear layers. The room has a gas powered heater and thick blankets, which kept us warm at night. Instead of paying money to a tourist agency, we paid directly to the host. We were happy that we could support locals in this way, as their economy heavily relies on tourism.

Uros yüzen adasında yer alan Uros Summa Paqari, Puno'da Titicaca Gölü'ne 7 km uzaklıkta yer almaktadır. Puno Limanı 5 km uzaklıktadır. Tüm odalar özel banyoludur. The location had amazing views - what else could you ask for being situated in the middle of Lake Titicaca. Vidal and his family were lovely and friendly. The rooms was exactly as the photo depicted. Our favorite spot would be the lounge area by the lake where you can just sit the whole day. The bathroom is also very comfortable - their toilet is flushable and they have a water heater. Lots of blankets are provided to keep you warm during the night. The food they served though simple was actually one of the best we had in Peru, and that's after dining at Lima and Cusco.

Our group of 4 loved our stay at this lodge on 10/1/23! It was clean, warm and above all the staff were amazing and treated us like family. The food was delicious and so was the wine and tea. Our bed had plenty of blankets that kept us warm and the water bottles they put in your bed at night just added to the coziness. The sunset was beautiful, at dusk many birds & ducks were flying around that were entertaining to watch & listen to. We were able to take the canoe out ourselves the following morning so I could spread my sons cremains on Lake Titicaca. The morning fog rising from the lake was beautiful and the sun popped out right afterwards. I'd definitely recommend this lodge to everyone!

I think it was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in! There are 3 houses on a floating island, owned by a father and a son. They are extremely nice people! The price is ridiculously small for what they offer. The view from the huge windows of the house is amazing, and so is the stay on the floating terrace.
