We were pleasantly surprised!! Ravi, the owner and host is delightful -- he was so gracious and helpful. The room was large, clean, and comfortable -- we loved that the room had a backdoor out to a very charming garden area. The motel -- a throwback to the 1950s is conveniently located with walkable access to the local restaurants and shops.

Rooms are spacious with all the appliances you need, including a real coffee machine and plenty of outlets everywhere. I have been here at least ten times and it’s my fav hotel in the area. The national park is around the corner, including bars, cafes, minimart, and a farmer market! We always end up staying extra days :)

We made dinner at home, sat in front of the fire, sat in the hottub and looked at the amazing night sky. Everything you need is there. The host left clear instructions and care for the house. There were many books about the area. I would definitely recommend staying here at least one night. Home away from home in the desert.

Kitchen was extremely well stocked (all cooking necessities, spices, oils). The power went out once in the evening because we had a few days of rain but the generator kicked on immediately.
