Located right on the coast of Bled Lake, Hotel Starkl - Heritage & Unique is a small family-run property that provides unique views of the lake. Everything was great, the room was lovely, great views, great facilities, great touches with the rituals soaps, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also great, amazing food and service. The location was ideal, and there are boats to the island just in front. If we come back to Bled, I will come back there for sure.

We spent a wonderful relaxing week at your hotel. The location is just perfect, very close to lake Bohinj, at a quiet place, but close enough to everything you need. The design of the hotel is deliberated to the smallest details. I think I can say, it was the best hotel i have ever been to. Very modern, eco-friendly, cosy, naturalistic outside as well as inside and in the rooms too. The rooms have enough space for everything. The view was wonderful, on the lake and on the surrounding mountains everywhere you look. The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of choices for everyone and a wide range of tasty local products. You can have lunch and dinner at the restaurant too, they have really tasty options on the menu. But there are also plenty of choices of other restaurants nearby. There is a beautiful garden where you can sit and have some relaxing time viewing the mountains and the beautiful nature and enjoying a great coffee and really special cakes from the bar any time of the day. For a rainy day there is also a small but very nice wellness, of course with spectacular views again. I hope we will be back soon. :)

Absolutely everything! The staff were exceptional, always friendly and attentive. The room was superb, beautifully appointed with a wonderful bath where you could lie and gaze at the stunning mountain views. To top everything off the restaurant served the most amazing food and is well worthy of its two Michelin stars!

-Friendly, helpful staff in all areas, especially Spela at reception who helped us with a number of things, including contacting an attraction for us to help re-schedule a visit, as we don’t speak Slovenian! -The swimming pool, hot tub, Turkish steam bath and Finnish saunas were a DREAM to get into after long days out, often days with challenging hikes in the mountains -The room was very cozy and comfortable, tastefully decorated and with a beautiful view of Lake Bled -Excellent, consistent turn-down service by housekeeping staff -Access to English-language TV, including the ones with my favorite British mystery shows—very nice to chill out to in the evenings -Close to many good restaurants, bars and shopping -Close to bus stops (including the free shuttles) where you can get buses out to Lake Bohinj, Vintgar Gorge and pretty much anywhere else you might want to visit from Bled as a day trip or next destination -THE BREAKFAST BAR!!! Probably the best I’ve ever seen at this price point! Come to the breakfast table hungry—you won’t regret it. And the dining room is lovely.

This beautiful hotel Villa exceeded our expectations! None of the photos prepared me for the truly exquisite experience of staying in the former President Tito's villa. The hotel is right on Lake Bled, with a swim area, changing rooms, and old fashion wood rowboats to row to the island to visit the 16th century church! The food and wait staff was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was amazing. There are not enough superlatives to describe this hotel. It is located in a quiet part of the lake. One of the most beautiful places we have ever been to!

Everything: but specific mention of gents at front desk, restaurant staff, the natural beauty of this unique resort. we stayed in a treehouse and everyone of us was so excited about it. my 5 year old said it’s the best house he has ever stayed in. To be honest I was a bit nervous about facilities in the treehouse, but this is an absolute marvel. Has all the possible facilities you can this of, and yes a true rustic treehouse experience! there are about 6 treehouses, we stayed in the 2nd one. Kids were just not keen to go anywhere but be in the resort and treehouse most of the time. we planned to stay 1 night but extended our stay (never have we done it before, so you can imagine how awestruck we were)… the best stay I’ve done with my kids so far… the staff is amazing, the restaurant is literally the best restaurant in Bled. the other good ones are Tales of Us, and Bled Caste, but this one at the resort is the best. The breakfast is outstanding too. the quality of ingredients is really organic and top class. Ah! i can’t stop writing, but we only wish we come back here very very soon again :)

It is a clean, high quality place. The owners are really kind and devoted, they were so lovely. The breakfast in bed is a miracle! Also the view is breathtaking… Not to mention the sauna and the hot tub!

This was the “glamping” experience we were looking for in the Bled area. Our kids loved the cabin, hot tub, and the whole place. The bathrooms located close by were also very clean (private per cabin), and we enjoyed our buffet breakfasts on the lovely patio. Communication was very clear and front desk staff were lovely and helpful. You are close to your neighbours but everyone was very quiet and respectful. The buildings and grounds were obviously all built with great care, and feature beautiful wood interiors and furniture. Have already recommended to friends heading to the Bled area.
