This hotel was rated 2-stars, but it was much better than that. Iwould rate it atleast 3-stars, if not4!

Boasting panoramic views of the Adirondack Mountains, this resort located directly on Mirror Lake has on-site dining and a spa. The Lake Placid Olympic Museum is less than 1.2 km away. The hotel is very exceptional. The rooms are very luxurious and cosy at the same time. Staff was very professional and helpful. A easy walk into town.

Located in Lake Placid, The Whiteface Lodge is 2.4 km from Lake Placid and is 2.2 km from Mirror Lake. My wife and I went to the Whiteface Lodge for our mini-moon, right after our wedding in November. Our stay was incredible - the room size was massive, and the bed and living area were very comfortable and well appointed. The guest facilities were amazing (including a small gym and game room, hot-tub and indoor pool), and the food at the restaurants was delicious. We really enjoyed the included breakfast every morning, and the complimentary cookies! We went during the off season so it was extremely quiet and peaceful during our trip, which we really appreciated and needed. Will be going back again!

Located directly on Lake George, this resort boasts private beach access and indoor and outdoor pools. Shopping and entertainment in Lake George Village are 2 miles away. The Lodges at CrestHaven is just the perfect spot. Great location, great staff. We will definitely be back, again and again!
