There’s a restaurant directly underneath my room. There were times it was quite noisy until 10 pm.

We were surprised by the open plan nature of the bathroom, lovely for a couple but as friends travelling together needed a bit of negotiation. I suspect the set up was visible in photos but we didn't notice. Despite this, the facilities really were first class.

Room was lovely, spacious and very well decorated, felt quite 'exclusive'. The hotel occupies part of a building but the unusual set up leads to a quirky feel inside. All space really well used and lots of space to relax outside of the room. Access to out of hours drinks and snacks was great, as was the super cute little 'garden' area. We didn't make use of the little in house cinema but it looked fun. Breakfast was fantastic!

The members of staff always at helping hand Anaswered all emails before arrival Many good restaurants in the local area walking distance to main shopping area and St Stephen's church Breakfast at the hotel is fantastic The pillows were to soft but we asked for firmer ones and they gave us these.

The hotel was in a perfect location for a 4 day visit to Vienna. St. Steven’s Cathedral, the Vienna State Opera, the Spanish Riding School, great restaurants and cafés as well as beautiful shops all within 5-15 min walk. Also very close to metro and train stops to take you further out. Beautiful property with clean, comfortable rooms. Super friendly and service minded staff and a delicious breakfast menu every morning.

Locked door to hotel from street and no reception or staff in evening /night. Lift failed on my first night and there was no one to contact or instructions on back staircase. Breakfast very limited for the price.

Everything was perfect

We loved everything about this property! Centrally located in old town Vienna providing walkable excursions and so many restaurant options. The room was huge, quiet, and the bed was very extra comfy. Breakfast was SUPERB including fresh made to order crepes, omelettes, etc and divine coffee. if I ever return to Vienna, here I will stay.

The shared entrance is a bit discouraging, but the light-hearted informal atmosphere of the hotel mostly negates that, once you’re into this quaint simple hotel. The street location can be a bit gritty & noisy building & roadworks outside when we were there. The room fit out ideas were well conceived, with simplified design, but the standard of finish was cheaply done in some places. For example, the newish platform floor was very squeaky and it was impossible not to make a lot of noise while just taking a few steps - dreadful! The pared-down plyboard cupboard and bathroom doors could have been better made. The weather was hot & the automatic heating in the bathroom floor could not be turned off completely - this was sometimes uncomfortable.

This hotel aims to be cheerful, smart and youthful. This is nice in old Vienna which is full of much very traditional building and decoration & plush older style hotels. We liked the casual welcoming atmosphere which was carefully created by really exceptional staff. The catering staff in particular were some of the most charming and efficient staff we have ever encountered, including in much grander hotels. The breakfast service which starts early and goes until 11.30am was outstanding and a very enjoyable way to begin the day. The reception staff were also very helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and our room size was generous with convenient storage and surface areas. The convenient location, very near St. Stephen’s Cathedral is in central old Vienna and close to the tram service and within walking distance of many tourist highlights.

The room was very spacious, elegant and well finished. A unique hotel, I have not stayed anywhere that was designed in the same way.

Perfect location, hotel felt very safe, private and the staff were so friendly and accommodating.
