Public transport is minimum 5 mins walk away, or 12 if you are going by train. Late Check in is a nightmare. I arrived just after midnight. I had informed them I would be there by midnight, this was confirmed approved, by email. Days later, too late to change my booking, the hotel informed me check in shuts at 10pm, but I could call on arrival. Planes get delayed, its a thing, but 15 mins late does not equal to being locked outside, vulnrable on a cold, wet night, the smell of homeless urine in abounds. I called the number provided, a lacklustre creature answered, asks "Where are you?" I replied at the front door, look on the cameras. It turns out this creature is not hotel staff but a disinterested employee of a local security firm. 20 mins later and I'm still waiting, I call again, the creature announces I would just have to wait, then hangs up on me. 30 mins, finally a confused security man shows up to let me in and process check in to at least get me into a room. This entire situation could have been avoided with proper communication when booking. Talking to reception in the morning resulted in a blatant lack of responsibility from the hotel, but that was followed up with management by reception. Pretty shocked the hotel thought it ok to leave guests locked outside (after a long flight etc) I spoke to the afternoon reception. She listened, and produced a bottle of wine as an apology from the hotel. That was appreciated. I think the hotel is fabulous and down right lovely but the late check in process needs to be completely overhauled. Communication should never be lacking, especially when the situation leaves a guest in potential danger. A week later Booking.com states check-in from 14.00. no mention of a early closure. I feel the wine was an apology, but if the system is not changed then really its just a token to make a problem go away. And so this hotel could score a high 10, but until they sort this out, this is cancer in their side.

Its a modern, beautiful hotel, and appears well maintained. The Studio Bean is a great cafe 2 secs away. The room felt private and safe, it is a peaceful hotel.

Honestly; we had a pretty almost perfect stay! The pillows were too thick for my liking so I ended up sleeping without a pillow, but that’s just because my personal preference is thinner pillows.

We loved the easy access to the pool and spa, the whole hotel was kept tidy and the decor was really nice.

The thermostat in our room seemed to be a bit eccentric….we were either hot or cold, and couldn’t get it to stay at a steady temperature. Also, and this is being very picky, the towels were really small for some reason.

Wonderfully quiet, great location, excellent shower and super comfortable bed. Also great staff and it was very clean! Loved it.

One of the towels in the bathroom seemed to have ‘makeup’ or something on it.

The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The lobby area was modern and inviting, and staff were friendly. We used the parking on site, which was a reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again! We loved it.

I booked this apartment for both my Birthday night and for the convenience of being close to the County Court. I was needing to attend jury duty the next day. I organised parking for my partner and I. As I needed to remain in the city the next day, they were more than happy for me to leave my car with them until i finished up in court. The chocolates and handwritten card on arrival were a lovely personal touch.

The table in the lounge room hadnt been cleaned well as there was something sticky on it, there was a can of milk in the fridge that wasn’t mine.

Extremely good location, only 5-7 bus stops away from CBD. If you preferred to walk, it only takes around 25 mins and you'll get to enjoy strolling through the lovely Flagstaff Gardens. Very clean and cozy, friendly and helpful staff, plus we even got upgraded both times we checked in at the hotel.
