It is a busy and noisy part of the city - traffic goes all night and the rooms are not double-glazed!

Good location and a very comfortable bed , good Wifi and a good smart TV. The staff were very helpful and were able to relocate us to a quieter , higher up room for the last two nights - they were great.

The bathroom drains were blocked and so having a shower was impossible. My children go bioengineering during the night - we think from the bed.

We werent told there was construction going on across the hall. The oven wasnt plugged in so i had to move the fridge to reach a plug. The switch to make the water come out of the bath faucet rather than the shower faucet didnt work. The stand on the TV was broken and so the screen was pointed up toward the ceiling. The cookware was badly scraped up and in need of replacing and we had to call housekeeping to request enough towels and forks for our family as we were only provided with 2. Also, the room itself was quite cramped.

The staff were so lovely. not even just lovely for Sydney, they were actually just really friendly and welcoming people. The bed was also huge. we didn't end up needing to use the fold out couch, my husband, myself and our 2 and 4 year old all slept really comfortably together.

If you stay with more than 2 persons and need the couch as additional bed you don’t have enough space anymore. Everything a little old and you can hear many people, loud music etc in the night. If you’re having a light sleep it’s definitely not the best location

little noisy, but it is a big city, had trouble lighting gas needs to be change to electric exhaust fan did not work to get rid of gas, need cockroach bait under fridge do'nt worry we have them to.

There were steep, narrow stairs to get into the building. I have a bad knee so this was quite dangerous especially with bags. The bathroom had a small shower bath which was badly designed. It had tight access and you needed to step up into it. There was nothing to hold onto getting in, so I couldn’t have a shower. My room was very noisy and I could hear traffic all night.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for a city family get together.

TV didn't work but staff fixed promptly, was rung after checking out to ask if I had dropped key back at reception which naturally I had. Checking in across the road was a little different but no big deal. Room was fine but getting a little dated!

The windows weren't very sound-proof, which was a problem for a light sleeper. The walls also seemed somewhat thin, as noise from the elevator and pipes could be heard. The apartment was clean but felt tired in some parts. The couches had some stains. There was a minor leak from the toilet and the shower could use a bit of an upgrade.

Location was good, it was very walkable. The staff were excellent, both the one checking us in and the one checking us out (the former in particular). The bed was very comfy.

The properties communication on having stairs located at the front before check in was not communicated until part payment had come out, when we arrived and carried the luggage and baby in pram up the stairs we find out we were not staying in the same Metro apartment that the check in took place but across the road , so after carrying the pram back down the stairs, across the road we had more stairs to climb to get to the front door. Not young family friendly. The unit itself was noisy all the time, we did not sleep from the traffic noise outside, the glass sliding door was missing a lock therefore mosquitoes could enter the unit and cold air came inside. The air conditioning unit on the balcony is rusty and a hazard to young children, no instructions for the air conditioning control that blew cold air not hot.

I liked that there was a lift to the apartment with the secure doors at the entrance and keys given to guests. Having a larger fridge for a family stay was convenient, the kitchen was spacious, there was a washing machine but I didn’t get to test it out. The shower over the tub is a good idea for kids and families who stay.

Overall the apartment was clean but could have done with a good dusting. The rug was pretty dirty and needs replacing. Has a lot of potential if a few dollars were spent.

The location was great. Close to Darling Harbour and city shopping. Bathroom was clean and had everything I needed. Comfortable pillows.

Due to its central location, there was a lot of traffic noise which I am not used to. Learning to live without a car to drive everywhere was a big learning curve!

It's central location near the corner of King and Sussex Streets meant we could easily walk to Sydney CBD or Darling Harbour, and eat at different restaurants for every meal, and enjoy the diversity of experiences, entertainments and shopping that the city has to offer.

Place felt dirty. Things were stained and cupboard was packed with random odds and ends. Not handicap accessible. No onsite parking and the parking they suggest is a few minutes walk away, so not ideal with luggage.

Just a few minutes walk to Darling Harbour. Location was great and the main reason we booked this. Full kitchen, washer & dryer and a little balcony to get some fresh air.
