Resort sport facilities were excellent - tennis courts, gardens and pools. The beds in terrace 423 were awful and not suitable for any human let alone a resort stay. The apartment itself is tired and outdated with a poorly equipped kitchen.

The sheets were really loud and reminded us of cardboard. Noisy and not soft at all. The pillows were worn out and tired. No options for other pillows. The lounge room needs a rug or two. And the bedrooms could do with one also. Would make the acoustics so much better in the house. The outdoor areas were usable. Dirty, bird poo and hasn’t been cleaned in some time. Not even blown down. Covered in garden material, tree flowers and leaves and sticks.

Our apartment was a little tired in places - old fittings, squeaking pipes, tired carpets. It could use a bit of love to modernise it. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't in operation during our stay but reception still made a good coffee and toasted sandwich for brekkie!

Raffertys is so well situated on beautiful grounds with a stunning view of the Lake. The facilities on offer for families are excellent and would entice us to come back for a longer stay with the kids. Our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable with a great view and located nice and close to reception, which was convenient as we were staying for a wedding on site. We made great use of our cute balcony with a little water view.

Unfortunately there are no catering options for lunch or dinner. There is coffee and a few basic items for breakfast. It's a pity as if you want to eat out you need to get in your car and drive somewhere else. Also, the townhouse we stayed in is very old and dated, needs a good paint and update, so check or ask for photos of your unit/accommodation before you arrive.

The activities offered at the lake are fantastic, boating, SUP, kayaking. The resort also offers lots to do - plenty BBQ facilities, tennis courts and 4 different pools meant we even had one to ourselves.

Carpet and bathrooms are a bit tired and old, but it was all very clean

It was spacious and clean and had most of things you need for a stay when family will be eating most meals at home.

Even though we were on the weekend during summer season, there was nobody from the staff present except for half day Saturday. The main bar/restaurant, reception, the pool-side bar were all dead, doors locked. Tradies and residents speeding in their trucks, dodging kids walking to the pools. Ducks do defecate into the pools. Haven't seen much mitigation in place. The house you'll get is a lottery from the pool of privately owned properties. You never know and you don't get to pick.

The pools needed more regular cleaning. We weren't able to use the main big one because there was so much duck poo. I guess more regular maintenance can be expected during main season. The smaller pool near us was better.

The villa itself was great so was the entire location. Staff were very friendly and allowed for an early check in as we arrived just before lunch time.

Our townhouse was lovely and had been updated but some were showing their age. Check if you need an oven as only 1 of our 3 rooms had one.

The kitchen could be updated: - Needs more cutlery and crockery / equipment such as tongs, serving plates were missing - dishwasher (drawers have rusted/lost wheels) - needs to be replaced - stove / oven needs to be upgraded - one burner did not work effectively - smart tv needed - wifi is a must - there was none

The townhouses were very very outdated compared to the cottages, everybody in our group that stayed in a townhouse was unsatisfied with how old and outdated they were. They are at the same rate as the two bedroom cottages however the cottages were modern, updated, crisp & pleasant to stay in. The townhouse furniture is old, the decor is old, the bathrooms, kitchen & bed is old. The beds were very uncomfortable.

The facilities, being lake front, pool area & tennis courts to enjoy.

I understand each property is individually owned, however there should be a certain consistent minimum standard across them. Our property/townhouse (437) had no broom, no drying rack, no dustpan and handle, no cereal bowls, only one chair outside on the ground floor terrace, so very minimal amenities in the townhouse. We were staying at Raffertys with a big group across 7-8 of their properties, so were able to compare and observe how there had been more thought and consideration put into ensuring their townhouses/cottages were equipped adequately.

The facilities and location were great, beautiful landscaping and very picturesque.

The accomodation wasn’t well equipped: very basic kitchen utensils and equipment, and supplies such as toilet paper and rubbish bags in sufficient for the length of stay 2 toilet rolls (per toilet), and 2 rubbish bags, 2 dishwashing sachets for a 5 night stay without room servicing.

Great location, good resort facilities - pools, gardens, BBQs. Cafe and bar were great and very convenient when open.

The main pool had a lot of duck poop

The unit was so wonderful. Very well appointed and was so clean and tidy. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed.
