To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyThe breakfast was for 18€ too much to pay for not that much of choices. Also the bread rolls were small. The facility was okay but at some points you could see that it needs partial renovation.
It was well located and the stuff were really nice. I was there only for one night, so I couldn’t say that much about the property. The room were clean and the breakfast was okay.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom shower did not have warm water when we tried to shower. The shower itself does not really prevent water from getting on the floor. A curtain would do wonders for the shower. $2 would fix that problem. Water everywhere. Definitely needs some slight repairs like bathroom door towel hangers were broken.
Wry close to the metro. Like steps from the metro. Very convenient when traveling to and from the train station. Relatively close to the old town areas of Brussels. Great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The A/C worked beautifully if you understand that it will slowly cool the room. It’s not like American A/C units that cool a room quickly. The mattresses were very comfortable and the balcony offered a nice view. For the price we paid we felt like we got our money’s worth.

SlovakiaThey provided only 2 tea bags and one wooden stirrer - for 2 persons and 3 nights! We had tea during the first night and it wasn't added during following days. Everything else with the room service was ok. Some of the furniture is quite worn (mostly in the breakfast room). Breakfast is very simple, I was in other 3-star hotels with much more breakfast choices. Elevator is only for 3 people, this can cause significant delays during breakfast time.
Hotel Chambord is in the perfect location. Entrance to the metro station is just 10 meters from the hotel's entrance. Price is ok and everything was very clean. It can be seen that the hotel was slightly renovated during recent years, The room itself was spacious and windows are good, so the noise from the street wasn't very audible.

ItalyThe hotel had a problem with two of my credit cards that I used without any problems in other moments during my stay. Same thing happened to another client. So it was likely a problem of the hotel itself. To pay for the room, the receptionists asked me to go to the cashmachine at night to take the money, blocking in the meanwhile the electronic key to enter my room. In the end, I was able to find the cashmachine and take the money. Unfortunately, in my way to go back to the hotel from the cashmachine I found malicious people that saw me taking the money and they wanted me to give it to them. It was a bad experience.
Grat Breakfast, very silent and big room, close to the city center and to the metro stations and to the main train stations and airport.
